TRACK RECORD OF THE DISASTER RECOVERY OF THE EPAS
Disaster Recovery is carried out on the ePAS application which is the change management control system. DR is the process of creating a backup server for an existing production server.
With the help of IR team, DB team, Documentum team, Disaster Recovery (DR) has succeeded after a long time.
Memory size, Server Capacity to withstand overloading, OS, performance of the application checkout are the factors to be considered for DR.
Jalees, Sathish Dhayalan, Hari Hara Sudhan and Vaishnavi toiled consistently and they hit home
Production server data summed to few Terabytes. But, the test server is of low memory. And the team overcame the challenge by sorting only the important data and transferred it to the test server.
After few futile attempts on DR, this is undoubtedly a bear fruit.
Client’s note of appreciation -
• Provided inputs on every meeting
• Prompt execution and test protocols
• Patiently worked and removed obstacles encountered
“Great work by all!
How fortunate for me to have you on my team. Your DR project contributions are greatly appreciated.”

Maestros of Maestro
JUNE 2018
Kishore, Shiva, Terry, Satya and Phani successfully launched the new version of Maestro application.
Maestro is a mass email marketing and communications tool used by the client for external and internal purposes
WHAT’S THE ISSUE?
Maestro 7.2.1 version had few bugs and performance issues, which resulted in frequent application down issues. This resulted in users being unable to work due to application unavailability
The team suggested the client to upgrade the existing version to overcome the performance constraints.
HOW DID THEY DO IT?
The upgrade was done by setting up a new server platform. Data conversion and networks errors were frequently faced by the team.
After multiple attempts, the setup was completed in Dev instance. The team coordinated with WinOps support, Border networks, DNS and Maestro vendor support to deploy the upgrade to production.
CLIENT’S NOTE OF APPRECIATION
My sincere thanks and gratitude to our Maestro project team – Kishore, Shiva, Satya, Phani, Terry and Glenn – and Brian, for the successful launch of the Maestro upgrade.
We encountered a number of obstacles along with way – but we overcame every obstacle and worked tirelessly to complete the project on schedule. We cannot thank you enough for your partnership, collaboration and dedication.
