City Of London Mural

City of London Mural ini merupakan projek mural pada dinding bangunan kedai lama serta usaha
pemuliharaan kawasan Bandar Renggam untuk kelestarian dan pengekalan kawasan warisan serta
alam sekitar.
City of London Mural diilhamkan oleh Tuan Mohammad Sukry Bin Abd. Rahim Yang Dipertua Majlis
Daerah Simpang Renggam.
Sejarah bandar Renggam ini turut tercatat dalam Muzium British di United Kingdom di mana pada
zaman pemerintahan British, bandar ini telah menerima kunjungan Ratu Elizabeth dan Ratu Victoria
pada 1950-an.
Sebagai penempatan utama pada masa itu, Renggam jadi tumpuan kolonial Inggeris yang memiliki
ladang besar seperti Ladang Guthrie, Ladang Ulu Remis (kini ladang Sime Darby) dan sebagainya
yang masih kekal hingga ke hari ini.

The history of the city of Renggam is also recorded in the British Museum in the United Kingdom
where during the British rules; the city received a visit from Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria in
the 1950s.
As the main settlement at that time, Renggam became the focus of the British colonialists who owned
large farms such as Guthrie Farm, Ulu Remis Farm (now Sime Darby farm) and so on which remain
to this day.
