James worst day of his
life
By Justice Soto
Crack, Boom, Thud. There goes my good
luck, said James. On a snowy day, there was a
person named James. James was a pizza
delivery guy. He works for Pizza Hut every day
when he goes to work. He is all fine when
working but he’s had some bad luck. It all
happened when he got the job back on June 13,
2015. He was just entering Pizza Hut then he
had bad luck when he was young, and he didn’t
want to mess up. So he tried not to get in
trouble because of his bad luck. He was hired
and he was trying not to get fired! His boss
called and shrieked to hurry up and get to work.
There is the start of my bad luck.
So James went in his Lamborghini and had
to drive 30 miles to his work. While he was
driving, one of the tires had exploded and later it
started to hail. So James had to check how bad
the damage was. It was not that bad it just
needed to be replaced with another, but he
remembered he used the last one on a time off
at Florida.
Then James had an idea: he got his iPhone
12 called a tow truck and asked if he could pick
the car and James up. But the tow truck driver
couldn’t because he said it was snowing really
hard. No one could go outside and no one could
see anything. Then he double-checked the tire,
but it was not pop. It was just the flare of the
engine. So James went back in his car and now
he has 10 minutes to go to work, and he hurried
to his job.
When James made it to Pizza Hut, his boss
was red looking like a pepper, his fists clenched
together like he was about to punch me just
because I was late. James pleaded for his job
back. His boss was said, Let’s do a challenge.
James vs every employee in Pizza Hut. Round
1 was delivery. James was good at delivery. The
chief was cooking now. The deliveries were
ready. The boss put an alarm for one hour. Then
he said,” ready, set, go. Off they went with the
delivery vans.
At every house, pizza would fly into people's
houses. People were saying thank you to
James the most. But the rest of the employees
were having some problems like mixing up
deliveries and getting there on time. Finally,
time was up, everyone had to meet up at Pizza
Hut.
James wondered if his bad luck curse was
just fake. It was because he didn’t mess
anything up and the employees got some bad
luck. He went back to his job to see if he got his
job back. His boss said, Congrats, you got your
job back! James was shocked that his bad luck
did not affect him, so probably he had never
had bad luck. It's only bad luck if you think
about it.
