The story began in 2014, when Premier Chocolate a British chocolate brand was
established by Helgi Gislason, following the acquisition of BBB Dovedale and the

subsequent acquisition of Creative Confectionery in 2016.

Creating a New British brand, Premier Chocolate began the journey to understand
what worked for the traditional and experienced British palate. Skilled in new product
development, our Chocolatiers got to work, creating glorious chocolate treats using our
own chocolate recipe, developing Chocolate Bars, Easter Eggs, Christmas Novelties,

Hollow Characters, Lollipops, Chocolate Assortments and Advent Calendars.

Premier Chocolate is proudly British, and sources wherever possible from British
suppliers for packaging and raw materials, and is looking forward to being an integral

part of the Chocolate landscape in the UK for many years to come.

Premier Chocolate is based in the heart of Derbyshire, in a 50,000 sq. ft. factory,
including warehousing, and head offices. With a team made up of chocolate experts,

who are passionate and enthusiastic about chocolate with quality and innovation
always at the top of their agenda.

Our focus continues to be on the development and expansion of the Premier
Chocolate brand & producing private label products for well-known businesses,
including major retailers and independents. It makes no difference whether you are
looking for conventional, or fair-trade quality, we can provide you with a range of

first-class products.
