ABOUT US

Lendtrust is a group of diploma students in event
management at merlimau melaka polytechnic.
Lendtrust has 30 members who have talent and

experience in organizing events. This event is the
fourth event to be organized by Lendtrust. In

semester 1, a sports event called DUP polympics
day involving tourism management diploma
students semester 1 to semester 5. Next, in
semester 3, Lendtrust organized an incentive

program and dinner. However, the program and
event had to be canceled due to the sharp increase

in covid-19 cases.

SUMMARY
Bunyi Gitar (Sound of the Guitar) Teater is an event where it is a classical teater show where it is
focus on Malaysian cultural appreciation mainly on 1950s and 1960s and also the classic Malay
apparels, this is one of the uniqueness about Malaysian that we don’t want it to be forgotten as
right now it is an era where the music, culture, and the language has change as there is
urbanization can be found in today's Malay culture. The reason why we organize this teater show
is to find the hidden talent among student, which is student from Politeknik Merlimau Melaka.
Other than that, we want to make sure that the Malaysian rhythm and culture is still be used in
creatige industry todays, to do that we have to find the person who is suitable to bring out the
true colors of Malaysian Rhythm to bring it to their glory once again as it did before. This is the
teater show's main objectives. Other than that, Theatrical art is the art of performing that
combines the art of writing by the writer, the art of directing by the director, the art of design by
the artistic stylist as well as the art of carpentry by the technical crew. Theater is a collective art
and requires the cooperation of all parties in production. We believe that this polytechnic has
potential to find this kind of talent to keep the Malaysian Rhythm alive in creative industry
todays.

Bunyi Gitar (Sound of the Guitar) Teater is an event focusing on Malay cultural
appreciation, will be held on 5th April 2022, it will be located in Platinum Hall,
Merlimau Polytechnic from 7pm till late. Will be managed by students of Diploma in
Event Management, it involves 75 crews among students and planned to attract 700
audiences across Melaka. This event will funded by semester 5 students and the ticket
sold will also went to the fund. As for the theme, it focused on 50s till 70s Malay theme.

CONCLUSION Last but not least, your support for our event is very
important so that our event goes well. We also hope that many
people attend our event and we want to be a new experience at

the polytechnic. We also want to be an example or mention
among the people of the polytechnic even though we will not be

at the polytechnic in the future. To find sponsors many
challenges him again when in this pandemic. we need to
convince them what the advantages, the benefits, the impact on

them. This requires good communication skills.



For our relationship as organizers and sponsors, we need to
think also of things that will happen in the future such as, how
many people are present at the event, the weather during the
event and more. In addition, incidents that will occur during the
event need to be taken at risk by the organization and resolved

well
