• Rules: all participants must form a line.
The leader of the line will start the game
by passing the first object to the person
on their right (person A) and saying, “this
is a pen”. Person A will ask, “a what”. The
leader will then repeat, “a pen”. Then
Person A will turn to the next person on
the right and say, “this is a pen”. The
game will get confusing as more objects
are added in the line

• Rules: Everyone will form a circle. Once the circle
is formed everyone has to stand till will their hands
either in the air, in front of them, or beside them.
Their hands can be anywhere but not behind them.
Each person gets a chance to move one time
either to the left or right. If the person hit your hand
when they move then you only have one had to
use. If both hands get hit then you’re out. Also
when you make your one move you must stay in
the position until it’s your turn to move again.

4 Square
• Key Skills: Quickness
• Space Needed: half court (4 squares only)
• Time Required: Unlimited
• Equipment needed: a ball
• Rules: each person playing will get into their own
square. One ball will be bounced around by one person
at a time. The person with the ball can drop or throw the
ball into any person square. The person has to hurry and
catch and throw it to another square before it bounces 2
in their square. If it bounces twice in your square then
you are out. If you catch the ball before it bounces one
time in our square you are out. If the ball hits nobody
square then the person who throw it is out.

Curb Ball
• Key Skills: Quickness, Great Aim, Ability to catch
• Space Needed: 2 sides of the street (2 curbs)
• Time Required: unlimited
• Equipment Needed: a ball
• Rules: when playing curb ball there are only 2 people
playing. Each person gets their on curb to stand on. The
game will begin when the first person (don’t matter who)
throws the ball in the air to attempt to hit the other person’s
curb. If the ball bounces back to the person who throw it that
means he/she hit the curb and they get t go again. If the ball
doesn’t bounce back that mean he/she missed the curb and
it’s the next person turn to throw. Each time you hit the curb
it’s worth 10 pts. Who ever make it to 100 pts win .

• Key Skills: Balance, ability to
catch, timeliness
• Space needed: half court
• Time Required: 10 minutes
• Equipment Required: a
backboard and a ball
Rules: Everyone will line up in front of the
free throw line. The leader of the line will
throw the ball at the backboard and
move so that the next person can jump,
catch it, and throw it back at the
backboard while in the air. Then the next
person will go and the next. It’s a must
that you catch and throw the ball while
your feet is in the air otherwise it’s not
considered a tip.
2 Hand Touch
• Key Skills: Quickness, blocking skills,
communication, teamwork, ball handling
• Space Needed: full court
• Time Required: 30 minutes
• Rules: Before playing you must split off
into 2 teams. The team on offense will
have the ball in their possession while the
team on defense is trying to stop the
offensive team from scoring. Each team
gets 6 chances to get touched before
having to turn the ball over. The defensive
team must touch the person running the
ball with 2 hands in order for it to count as
a “touch”. If the offensive team drop the
ball that is also considered a turnover.

• Time Required: 5 minutes
• Equipment Needed: None
• Rules: Sticks is a hand game. You start off with
one finger on each hand. One person at a time will
take turns hitting the other persons finger. (Ex.
Person A hit’s Person B with one finger.. Now
Person B has one finger up on one and 2 up on the
other. Then Person B hits Person A with 2 fingers
now Person A has 3 fingers up on one hand and 1
on the other hand). Whoever has all 5 fingers up on
both hands loses. Also if on hand has an even
number of fingers up and the other hand is already
out you can split the sticks amongst both hands
that way you have a better chance of winning.

Key Skills: speed and ability to shoot
Space Needed: Full Court
Time Required: 20 minutes
Equipment: baseball bats, sacks and
basketballs
Rules: Dizzy Dean Relay starts by splitting
the team up into 2 groups and making the 2
teams line up on the baseline. One person
from each team will start the relay by
spinning around 25 times while counting
aloud with their head faced down on the bat.
Once they finish spinning they must get into
the sack and hop down to the other end of
the court and shoot a free throw. Once free
throw is made they have to run and touch
the persons hand next in line.

Time Required: 5 minutes
Equipment Required: a large rob
Rules: There will be 2 teams. The rope
will be centered and aligned between he
2 teams. As soon as the instructor blows
the whistle, each team can start pulling
the rope into their territory.

Space Needed: half court
Time Required: 30 minutes
Equipment: bubbles and hula hoops
Rules: there will be 2 teams. 2 volunteers
from each team will 1. hold the hula hoop
and the 2nd volunteer will blow the bubbles.
The participants from each team will line up
in front of there hula hoop and wait for the
person blowing the bubbles to release them.
Then once bubbles are release he/she will
attempt to blow at least one bubble through
the hula hoop without making it pop. If the
bubble pop the person will have to start over
!
