Microteaching, a teacher training technique

currently practised worldwide, provides teachers

with an opportunity to perk up their teaching skills

by improving the various simple tasks called

teaching skills. Microteaching, with its

promotes real-time teaching experiences.

EXPLAINS TO US THE SOW OF THIS SUBJECT.

MOREOVER, THROUGHOUT THIS SEMESTER WHAT

WE GOING TO LEARN AND WHAT IS TASK WE NEED

TO DO FOR THIS COURSE WAS EXPLAINED IN THIS

CLASS. LECTURER EXPLAIN HOW THE PORTFOLIO

FOR THIS SUBJECT SHOULD BE DONE AND ALSO

EXPLAINED IN DETAIL WHAT IS OUR MINOR MAJOR

PROJECT IN THIS SUBJECT. .

Furthermore, the lecturer conducted

a small Q & A to taste prior

knowledge on this subject, such as

microteaching and the difference

between micro and mock teaching.

From the first day in the classroom, I

was able to refresh and recall what I

have learnt during my diploma

microteaching. Recall sessions like

this help me assess my strengths and

knowledge in a subject. To remember

GONE THROUGH SLIDES. FROM THE COURSE, WE LEARNED THE


TYPES OF MICROTEACHING AND THE ADVANTAGES OF

MICROTEACHING. OVERALL FROM THE CLASS, I UNDERSTAND


THAT MICROTEACHING HAS A NUMBER OF BENEFITS. IT

FOCUSES ON DEVELOPING AND IMPROVING SPECIALISED

TEACHING ABILITIES AS WELL AS AVOIDING MISTAKES. IT

ALLOWS ME TO COMPREHEND ESSENTIAL CLASSROOM

BEHAVIOURS. IT BOOSTS THE LEARNER TEACHER'S SELF-


ASSURANCE.
EXPERIMENTS ARE CRITICAL COMPONENTS OF EVERY NOTION.


MANY EXPERIMENTS ARE CARRIED OUT IN MICRO-TEACHING

TO TEST THE TEACHERS' ABILITIES.

SUPERVISORS, FOR EXAMPLE, RUN TRIALS IN WHICH THE

FROM TODAY'S CLASS, I HAVE LEARNED THE

IMPORTANCE OF LEARNING OBJECTIVES, CONTENT

STANDARDS AND LEARNING STANDARDS OF THE

LESSON PLAN. I UNDERSTAND THAT LEARNING

OBJECTIVES PLAY AN IMPORTANT ROLE IN

LESSONS; IT IS NECESSARY TO HAVE CLEAR

LEARNING OBJECTIVES. THEY FACILITATE THE

IDENTIFICATION OF WHAT STUDENTS SHOULD BE

ABLE TO PERFORM DUE TO EDUCATION. AS A

RESULT, THE DEVELOPMENT OF MORE EFFECTIVE

INSTRUCTIONAL PLANNING, ACTIVITIES, AND

EVALUATIONS ARE MADE POSSIBLE. NOT ONLY

THAT, BUT FROM THIS CLASS, I HAVE LEARNED

HOW TO WRITE A CLEAR AND MEASURABLE

LEARNING OBJECTIVE. OBJECTIVES ALWAYS

CONSIST OF BEHAVIOUR SKILLS THAT STUDENTS

MUST ATTAIN AND MEASURE THE PUPIL'S

FOR TODAY'S CLASS, SOME OF THE STUDENTS WERE

CHOSEN TO CONDUCT A DEMO TEACHING BASED ON THE

PREVIOUS LESSON. THE PREVIOUS LESSON IS BASED ON

STIMULUS VARIATIONS. THIS IS A GOOD TASK WHERES AS

IT GIVES AN OVERVIEW AND GOOD PRACTICES FOR US

TO DO BETTER FOR OUR PRESENTATION STAGE MOCK

TEACHING IN UPCOMING WEEKS. FROM TODAY'S

ACTIVITY, I WAS ABLE TO UNDERSTAND THAT,

STIMULUS VARIATION IS A TECHNIQUE FOR IMPROVING

CHILDREN'S LEARNING BY ASSISTING THEM IN REMAINING

FOCUSED. IT'S A STRATEGY TO KEEP PUPILS' INTEREST

AND ATTENTION. AN INSTRUCTOR WHO CAN SWITCH

THINGS UP. AS A RESULT, THE STIMULI IN HIS OR HER

INSTRUCTION BECOME MORE EFFECTIVE. THERE IS A LOT

OF PARTICIPATION FROM THE STUDENTS, AND THE

OBJECTIVES OF THE LESSON WERE MET TO A

CONSIDERABLE EXTENT

INFORMATION ABOUT MICROTEACHING AND THE

FROM THE CLASS, I WAS ABLE TO UNDERSTAND

THAT, MICRO-TEACHING HELPS TO PREPARE AN

INDIVIDUAL OR TRAINEE TEACHER BECAUSE

HELPS TO PREPARE FOR REAL TEACHING

PRACTICES AND BOOSTS THE CONFIF]DENCE

LEVEL IN MY TEACHING SKILLS. MOREOVER,

THROUGHOUT THE LESSON, I WAS ABLE TO

MEMBERS. THE SAME STRATEGY WHICH IS STIMULUS

VARIANTS WAS PRACTISED DURING THE TUTORIAL

CLASS. FROM MY UNDERSTANDING, I LEARN THAT, DURING

A LESSON, A TEACHER'S ACTIVITIES THAT ESTABLISH

AND MAINTAIN A HIGH LEVEL OF MAXIMUM ATTENTION

ON THE PART OF THE STUDENTS, SUCH AS MANNERISMS,

VOICE, PERSONALITY, MEDIA, AND MATERIALS UTILISED

DURING INSTRUCTION, ARE REFERRED TO AS TEACHING

TECHNIQUE. NOT ONLY THAT, CERTAIN CRITERIA SHOULD

BE FOLLOWED TO SUCCEED IN THIS STRATEGY WHICH IS

AN EDUCATOR ALWAYS SHOULD HAVE A GOOD VOICE

PROJECTION, REQUIRED TO HAVE GOOD STUDENTS -
TEACHER INTERACTIONS, INTERACTION TEACHER-

STUDENT-TEACHER, INTERACTION TEACHER-GROUP, AND

GOOD VERBAL PARTICIPATION OF THE STUDENTS. IN MY

POINT OF VIEW, TODAY'S TASK WILL BE GOOD PRACTICE

FOR ME TO ENHANCE MY STIMULUS VARIANT STRATEGY

IN TEACHING SKILLS AND I HOPE I WILL DO BETTER IN MY

MOCK TEACHING IN STAGE TWO.

IN TODAY’S CLASS, WHICH WAS CONDUCTED ON THE ONLINE

PLATFORM AND REQUIRED TO PRESENT OUR MAJOR PROJECT ESL

BLOG. IN MY OPINION, CREATING A BLOG NOT ONLY IMPROVES

CREATIVITY, BUT THIS TYPE OF ASSESSMENT BUILDS CONFIDENCE

AND SKILLS IN TEACHING SKILLS. LEARNING TO CREATE BLOGS FOR

TEACHING, CAN BENEFIT BOTH STUDENTS AND TEACHERS FROM THE

BLOGGING PROCESS IN TERMS OF PERSONAL GROWTH. BLOGGING

PROVIDES REINFORCEMENT AND FEEDBACK OUTSIDE THE SMALL

CLASSROOM COMMUNITY THROUGH COMMENTS. THIS CAN LEAD TO

INCREASED SELF-ESTEEM, PERSONAL REFLECTION AND GROWTH, AND

CONFIDENCE. NOT ONLY THAT, CREATING BLOGS WILL, ENCOURAGES

AUTONOMOUS LEARNING BY ALLOWING STUDENTS TO TAKE MORE

CONTROL OF THEIR LEARNING AND ENCOURAGE LEARNERS TO

IMPROVE THEIR READING AND WRITING SKILLS. FURTHERMORE, FROM

LECTURE FEEDBACK FROM MY ESL BLOG, I LEARNED THAT THE

COLOUR AND ALIGNMENT OF THE BLOG ARE VERY IMPORTANT,

ESPECIALLY SINCE IT IS AN EDUCATION BLOG, SOMETIMES

UNATTRACTIVE COLOURS MAKE STUDENTS FEEL BORED WHEN USING

IT.

IN TODAY’S CLASS, WE DID MOCK TEACHING ON

THE PRESENTATION STAGE. FOR THIS STAGE, I

HAVE CREATED SLIDES AND ALSO A SMALL

ONLINE ACTIVITY IN WORDWALL FOR THE MOCK

TEACHING. A TOTAL OF 7 MINUTES WAS TAKEN

TO FINISH THIS STAGE AND THIS MOCK

TEACHING WAS HELD ON THE ONLINE PLATFORM

AND ONLY AMONG THE GROUPMATES. THE

FEEDBACK FROM THE GROUP MEMBERS WAS

POSITIVE AND THEY COMMENTED THAT I HAVE

USED ALL THE STRATEGIES SUCH AS STUDENTS -

TEACHERS INTERACTION, QUESTION AND

ANSWER TECHNIQUES, ETC.

IN TODAY’S CLASS, I LEARNED ABOUT

QUESTIONING TECHNIQUES. IN THIS CHAPTER, I

LEARNED THE VARIOUS TYPES OF QUESTIONING

TECHNIQUES, THE STRATEGIES TO HANDLE

STUDENT RESPONSES TO QUESTIONS, AND THE

DIFFERENT LEVELS OF BLOOM’S TAXONOMY IN

DEVELOPING QUESTIONS. IN THIS LESSON, I

UNDERSTAND THAT A GOOD QUESTION ALWAYS

HAS CHARACTERISTICS SUCH AS, UNAMBIGUOUS,

CLEARLY STATED, COMPREHENSIVE, THOUGHT-

PROVOKING AND MANY MORE. FROM THE

CHAPTER, I COULD SAY THAT QUESTIONING

STUDENTS DURING LESSONS VERY ESSENTIAL

WAS TO ASSESS COMPREHENSION, I.E. TO

UNCOVER MISCONCEPTIONS AND PROVIDE

CORRECTIVE COMMENTS AND ASSIST STUDENTS

IN DEVELOPING A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF

THEMSELVES AND THEIR DEVELOPMENT, SHARING

THEIR DEEPER THINKING, AND MAKING DEEPER

CONNECTIONS WITHIN THE TOPIC.

IN TODAY’S CLASS, WE PRACTICE WHAT WE

LEARNED DURING THE LECTURE CLASS, WHICH IS

QUESTIONING TECHNIQUES. WE ARE REQUIRED
TO CHOOSE A TOPIC AND A STAGE FOR THE

DEMONSTRATION AND NEED TO QUESTION

TECHNIQUES AMONG OUR CLASSMATES. I WAS

NOT CHOSEN TO DEMONSTRATE THE

QUESTIONING TECHNIQUES DUES TO TIME

CONSTRAINING. EVEN THOUGH I WAS NOT ABLE

TO DO THE DEMONSTRATION, I WAS ABLE TO

WATCH MY PEER'S PERFORMANCES. IT WAS

GOOD LEARNING SINCE I CAN LEARN FROM THEM

HOW TO DO QUESTIONING TECHNIQUES AND

ALSO LEARN TO BETTER A FEW CRITERIA FROM

THEIR MISTAKES.

IN TODAY’S CLASS, WE LEARNT A NEW TOPIC WHICH IS

“CLOSURE IN A LESSON”. FROM THE TOPIC. I LEARNED

THAT CLOSURE IS VERY IMPORTANT IN THE LESSON

BECAUSE IT HELPS- TO RECALL WHAT THE STUDENTS

HAVE LEARNT IN THE ENTIRE CLASS. THE CLOSURE IS

THE STAGE IN WHICH YOU WRAP UP A LESSON PLAN

AND ASSIST STUDENTS IN ORGANISING THE

KNOWLEDGE IN THEIR MINDS IN A RELEVANT

CONTEXT. OTHER THAN THAT, IT ASSISTS STUDENTS

IN BETTER UNDERSTANDING WHAT THEY HAVE

LEARNED AND GIVES A MEANS FOR THEM TO APPLY

WHAT THEY HAVE LEARNED TO THE WORLD AROUND

CLOSURE ACTIVITY IN THE CLASSROOM. I AND

MY TEAMMATE CHOOSE THE TOPIC OF

WEATHER FROM FORM TWO AND DID A SMALL

CLOSURE ACTIVITY FOR THEM. WE ALSO

INCLUDE A PREVIEW OF THE NEXT CHAPTER IN

SMALL SPIN IN THE WHEEL GAME TECHNIQUES.

THE FEEDBACK I GOT FROM THE LECTURER WAS

POSITIVE BUT CROSS THE TIME LIMIT OF THIS

STAGE. THIS STAGE ONLY REQUIRED US TO

PRESENT FOR 3 MINUTES BUT WE EXCEED THE

LIMIT AND PRESENTED FOR FOUR MINUTES. SO

FROM THE ACTIVITY, I LEARN THAT REVIEWING,

RECAPPING, AND SUMMARIZATION IS VERY

ESSENTIAL BUT THE MORE IMPORTANT THING IS

TIME IN THIS STAGE.

IN TODAY'S CLASS, WE LEARNED ABOUT THE

WHICH YOU WRAP UP A LESSON PLAN AND
