Hunger Games Review The novel, The Hunger Games, written by Suzanne Collins is a popular read for teenagers and adults alike. D – Berlin’s Zoological Garden and Aquarium, Germany Germany’s oldest zoo was opened in 1844 with an aquarium which was opened in 1913. It is the most visited zoo in Europe. The aquarium is housed in a four-storey building and this zoo has an excellent collection of birds of prey, cranes and antelopes. The regular animal feedings are among the most popular attractions in this zoo. E – Singapore Zoo, Singapore This zoo, formerly known as the Singapore Zoological Gardens, occupies 69 acres of land. It is considered to be one of the best rainforest zoos in the world and has the world’s fi rst freeranging orang-utan habitat. The animals in the zoo include Asian elephants, chimpanzees, proboscis monkeys and numerous other endangered animals from Southeast Asia. The zoo has an amphitheatre for holding animal performances. F – Taronga Zoo, Sydney Taronga Zoo is home to more than 4,000 animals of 350 species. It is the largest zoo in Australia.
