A Julia Thomas
Read the dialogue between Julia and Thomas. Then answer the questions.
Julia : Hi, Thomas. What are you doing?
Thomas : I am helping my brother with his maths homework. He is in Year 1.
Julia : My dad usually helps my brother with his maths homework. He is in Form
One so I can’t help him. What do you do every day after school? You
always say that you are busy.
Thomas : I am always in school from 7.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. Monday to Friday. After
school, I always do my homework first. Sometimes I help my mother with
the housework. At about half-past five, I usually go to the field near my
house to play football. I never watch television on weekdays because I
don’t have the time. I usually watch television and play computer games
during the weekends. What about you?
Julia : Monday to Friday I am in school like you. I always take a nap after school.
Later, I usually complete my homework and do a bit of revision. In the
evening I sometimes go to my grandmother’s house, which is nearby. I
spend about two hours there. My cousins and I usually go jogging at the
park near her house. I usually have my dinner with my grandmother. My
father picks me up from her house at about eight. I go to bed at nine on
weekdays. Like you, I never watch television on weekdays.
