SILICONE, FKM AND VITON®
The Silicone Rubber is FDA approved and compatible with most foods, especially at elevated temperatures.
J P Polymer offer Silicone in standard colours of red and white. Blue coloured Silicone can be sourced if required
We offer 2 grades of fluoroelastomers V99 Viton® A, compounded at Trelleborg in Spain using Chemours Branded
Viton, suitable for harsh environments where aggressive chemicals and high temperatures may be involved.
Temperature range -30° + 250°C. Good resistance to most chemicals and industrial fluids, will retain strength and
withstand embrittlement during long-term heat exposure
The second is V90 FKM a very high grade of commercial fluoroelastomer, a more cost effective option for those
harsh environments. Temperature range -20° + 220°C. More economical then Viton®, but with similar resistance to
most chemicals and industrial fluids

WEAR RESISTANT RUBBER SHEETINGS
Wear resistant rubber is specially designed to resist mechanical wear and is therefore used in a
Multitude of modern industries, everything from mining and quarries to steel works and foundries.
It may be used to line troughs, conveyance vessels or other areas subjected to shock or impact
It can provide protection for conveyed materials, and will be superior to metal or concrete in the
same environment.
There are different types of wear resistant rubber available and care should be taken in selecting the
most suitable quality for each application and environment.
