'Our Home is Your Home'

Bill's motto: "Our Home Is Your Home"
Why? Because all who come through
Monarch’s doors are thought of and
treated as we would our own family.

Having over 35 years of experience
helping families through one of the worst
times in their life, Bill has created and
put into practice every conceivable
support system helping families before,
during and after funeral services.

Business Man

Of The Year 2022

Synonymous are the titles… Funeral
Director, Undertaker and Mortician,
with ‘Funeral Director’ being the
most common in this day and age.
There is no difference between the
three and may be used unilaterally
to mean the same thing.

Whatever the term, from whatever
era, all refer specifically to one
thing… the act of taking care of
deceased loved one's and giving support to grieving
families and friends.

Helping and supporting those in need with countless kind
gestures and comforting words is a Funeral Director at his or her best,
at the pinnacle of their profession. It is by those gestures and words
that they are measured.

When meeting with grieving families, friends, neighbors and community, Bill
and his Monarch family know well the feelings and pain they are experiencing
during their time of sadness and grief.

Father & Sister

In less than one year, Bill
and his family experienced
two sudden and unexpected
passings in their family…the
passing of Bill's sister Nancy,
who at the age of 50, married with two children, just 11
months older than Bill, transitioned to another place in
February of 2020.

Then his father, who was a young 73 and still working
full-time, transitioned while sleeping in January of 2021
Spanning 35+ years, Bill has owned and operated funeral homes from New York to his
currently owned ‘Monarch Funeral Home’ in Margate Florida. The 1000’s of families that
have walked through the doors of any of these, all remember and speak of being treated
by Bill as though they were members of his own family. They fondly recall the warmth,
kindness, love and support they received.

A Calling...

Yes, there's the typical funeral director job description and
all the business aspects that accompany it. But for Bill
Savino, there was always more. When he chose this pro-
fession as a young man, there were many influences
that went beyond business and monetary consideration.

Taking Notice...

Whenever Bill had the unhappy occasion of attending a
funeral, be it a family member, friend or neighbor, he took
notice of something. That ‘something’ he noticed were the
funeral home personnel that tended to the grieving family
and friends.

He observed the warm and
caring way they dealt with
all who were in need, the
way they spoke about the
deceased, and the (what
appeared to be) sincere interest they took in all parties
involved, and how the mourners leaned on them for support,
which they received generously.

Motivation-Innovation...

Bill found himself in awe of the words and actions of the
Funeral Director and other funeral professionals that provided
much relief and comfort to grieving families through the most
difficult time in their lives

He thought to himself: "what a wonderful feeling it must be to
do this for people in their terrible time. I would love to be able
to do that... I want to do that… I think I'd be good at it, because,
well, I care.”

In short, Bill wanted to
be able to do what these
people do… and more. He
did both; never looking
back for a minute of the
35+ years.

A Student Of The Profession...

Bill feels truly fortunate that he was born into and raised by a socially
oriented family of' 'people lovers'. He grew up witnessing the
kindness, generosity and caring for others by his own family. It felt
perfectly natural to pursue a profession based on these positive
attributes... a profession that also became a 'teacher' to him... one that
taught him even deeper what he knew: the meaning of love of family
and friends—the meaning of love for all.

“I look forward to the rest of my life doing what I love. And for as long
as what I love affects people in a positive way... I accept this blessing
with much gratitude.”
