Clouzine23What are your thoughts about today'smusic industry?Your thoughts about Clouzine Magazine?Today'smusic industry for indie artists has its pros and cons.We are particularly enjoying the control that indieartists now have over theirmusic, as well as the vast resources now available compared to the early 90s. Even theinternet is a huge toolin being able to create awareness and just get yourmusic heard. I often wonder whatmighthave happened if we had those opportunities back then.The downside now is expressly tied to the upside—that there is complete saturation inmusic. Anyone can release atrack and the quality and skill of what gets heard ranges fromvery poor to excellent.While there ismore access,it’s harder to get heard over the noise.Of course, there is very little financial viability for indie artists now. I amnot sure that there was ever anymoneyinmusic, except for hugely successful artists.Given the choice, I prefer today’s options better.One of the encouraging developments in today'smusic scene is the support available fromradio,websites, blogs,andmagazines like Clouzine.We really appreciate Clouzine for their support ofindiemusic.We see Clouzine creatingawareness for indie artists through socialmedia. The International Music Awards give artists the opportunity toenter theirmusic to compete with artists all over the world. Themagazine also offers exposure through new artistdiscoveries and new releases as well as interview opportunities like this.Thanks for being part of the solution, Clouzine!Eric C Powell
