April showers bring May flowers...and a summer full of music! Every year music artists
from all kinds of genres come together to create unforgettable lineups that bring all kinds of
different people together. Music festivals are a space where people can simultaneously listen to
the music they love and learn about other genres they might not have liked before. Sometimes it
takes hearing a song live to uncover its full potential.
Just think about the younger generation of music lovers who will show up to San
Francisco's Outside Lands music festival for Childish Gambino and Twentyone Pilots, and leave
having also seen legendary musicians like Mavis Staples and Paul Simon. Music festivals can
transcend both genre and time, which is just one of the many reasons our multimedia intern
Solomon wants to dedicate his career in photography to capturing this one of a kind experience
at festivals around the world.
