A Fantastic Weekend



I just got back home. I spent the weekend in Michoacán with my uncle Juan. It was an
excellent experience!


On Friday, we visited Santa Clara del Cobre, we bought some nice copper pieces. They
were beautiful! We spent the rest of the day in Pátzcuaro. It was a sunny day, just perfect to
walk around the main public square. There were lots of tourists. There was some traditional
dancing demonstration. The dancers were very talented. My uncle took me to an ice cream
shop. I had some “nieve de pasta”. It was absolutely delicious. On Sunday we went to the

National Park of Uruapan. It was unbelievable! There were beautiful waterfalls everywhere.
My weekend was fantastic and my uncle Juan was an excellent guide.

We use adjectives to describe things, animals, people, places, events, etc.

Most adjectives can be used in front of a noun:
They have a beautiful house.

We can use them after a link verb like be, look or feel:
Your dress is pretty. She looks fantastic!
The movie was great! I feel tired!
