Introduction Hi, I’m Rosa Parks. I was
born on February 4th
1913. I wrote a book
called Rosa Parks my
story. I hope you enjoy the
book.

Chapter 1: Rosa Parks was born on February
Welcome Rosa Parks 4th 1913. Around 1915 when Rosa
was 2 her parents divorced. Then
around 1919 Rosa went to school.
She was usually home sick with a
sore throat and a fever.

Why did Back when rosa parks was alive
people be there was something going on
segregated? called segregation. Segregation
was when people were separated
Chapter 2: because of their skin color. When
Life back then Rosa was on the bus she was
always tired of giving in. During
segregated times bathrooms,
houses, school and even water
fountains were segregated.

Chapter 3: Who was Raymond was Rosa Parks
Raymond husband. He worked for the
NAACP. He also lead secret
meetings.

Why do you When Rosa Parks was alive hardly
think money anyone voted. Each year if you
was so hard to passed a test you would be able to
get? vote. It would cost $1.50. That does
not sound like a lot but back then
Chapter 4: the right movie ticket would be 10 cents and
to vote ice cream 5. It was unfair for
african americans because they
were not treated fairly and nobody
wanted them to vote.

Chapter 5: Bus Rosa parks has gotten yelled at
Problems many times. For what, for not
giving a white man a seat and for
not coming in using the right door.
These incidents both happened on
the public bus. It Rosa Parks that
she had to give in for people who
don't like black people.

Why do we We remember rosa parks because
remember Rosa she helped with making busses
un-segregated. She was also an
Parks? activist. She helped the world.
