In the edition that celebrates the 10th anniversary of
Urbana magazine, the tone is festive!
In this edition we do not just celebrate an important date, as
this collector's edition has the weight of the number 100.
There are 100 editions, 10 years of existence. A decade of
design, interiors, places and people. This is, therefore, our
biggest edition ever. In focus, apartment projects, in
Portugal and in the rest of the world, that reflect
creativity and architectural and decoration solutions,
brands and designers that celebrate important dates, a
look at 100 objects and pieces of furniture from around
the world that contributed (and still contribute today) to a
more beautiful, functional and desirable interior or exterior
space.
Throughout this special issue, we celebrate the people,
products and places that aim to color and transform the
place we inhabit.
2012 saw such important brands as Instagram grow
exponentially - the popular photo-sharing application launched
in 2010 was acquired by Facebook in 2012, breaking download
records when it was launched on the Android market with over
100 million loyal users in September 2012 (Forbes); the well-
loved Off-White - Based in Milan, the fashion brand founded
by Virgil Abloh, with more than 5 million followers on the social
network, is the most desired by anonymous people and
celebrities and has several collaborations with other brands, such
as Nike, reaching an unimaginable level of stardom… In turn,
Alessi, Arne Jacobson, Cassina, Flos, Fritz Hansen, Gufram,
Marcel Wanders, among many other insignia, celebrate their
birthday and we show you some iconic design pieces.
If there is more? Yes, but we like to surprise and
guarantee the 'wow' effect. We are working towards
it.
This edition is yours, we count on you to celebrate
with us the date, which has such special weight in
numbers 10 and 100. And that has so much
meaning.
