WORKING ON THE NEXT BIG THING...
CASE STUDY 01
The Brief
JMF was given the opportunity by Sodexo Prestige to bring some fresh ideas to Everton’s Goodison Park stadium. The owners wanted to give the food kiosks a new look, so we pitched successfully against other design agencies to give Goodison Park the revamp it needed.
OUR RESPONSE
To ensure we had the best contingency plan for winning the pitch, our eight design team members put their heads together to come up with a fresh, slick design that would bring a modern look to
the stadium. After winning the pitch JMF was commissioned by Sodexo Prestige.
Construction
Technical specification included:
• Full site survey
• Vinyl printed on Roland Sol Jet Pro 4 XF-640
• Hundreds of meters of 3mm ACM cut using vertical panel saws
• Vinyl applied to ACM using RollsRoller flatbed table
• Acrylic signs cut by CNC router in-house, polished with vinyl applied
• External lightboxes manufactured in-house
• Three JMF fitting teams
Result
As a result of seeing how JMF successfully saw this project through from initial concepts to installation, Sodexo invited us to rebranded Headingley
Stadium and have also recommended us to other organisations within their client portfolio, including the Ministry of Defence.

WORKING ON THE NEXT BIG THING...
KENNY ATKINSON OF
From the day he opened for business, JMF Group has helped House of Tides founder, Kenny Atkinson to design, develop and build his brand.
The brief entailed creating a brand to match Kenny’s cutting-edge food and restaurant within the recently restored, Grade 1-listed building, located on the historic Newcastle Quayside.
Back in the 1600s the water from the River Tyne would come right up to the doors of the old building, hence the term ‘House of Tides’, which inspired us to show the waves in a circular logo which represents a ship’s porthole.
To demonstrate his pride in the North East, Kenny was keen to use local landmarks as part of the brand designs, so we utilised illustrations of each of the iconic bridges, which also act as a location map for the building.
We would like to congratulate Kenny on his ever- growing popularity, his recent Michelin Star and his restaurant being voted best in the UK by the AA.

WORKING ON THE NEXT BIG THING...
CASE STUDY 03

JMF has enjoyed a long-standing relationship with Newcastle United Football Club.
Our journey together started with us fulfilling basic print requirements such as letterheads, compliment slips and season tickets, after which we went on to assist in the opening of Shearer’s Bar, from initial concept to design and print.
Over the past 15 years employees at JMF and the club have developed a strong working relationship, which together with recommendations from Sodexo Prestige have seen us being awarded big opportunities in recent years.
Our most recent success with the club was being given chance to pitch for the tender of all internal kiosk signage within the stadium, which we won. And if you visit the stadium today you can see our designs in every kiosk.

CASE STUDY 04 WORKING ON THE NEXT BIG THING...
Our working relationship with Hotel Indigo began with an introduction by a local business based in Newcastle city centre.
As the initial construction of Hotel Indigo got underway, our design team helped with some basic creative branding to develop the hotel’s identity. Following which we put together a successful presentation which saw us being appointed to design and produce the whole of Hotel Indigo’s brand materials.
So from simple door hanging signs and stationery we have since assisted in the opening of the Marco Pierre White restaurant, with a whole range of menus and posters created, printed and finished in-house, and have also been working on exterior signage. And as a result of our success here, we are now branching out into supplying other sites with all their marketing requirements.

WORKING ON THE NEXT BIG THING...
CASE STUDY 05
The Brief
We were invited to tender for this prestigious
print and design contract following a strong recommendation from another international jewellery brand. And having analysed Tresor’s current brand and statistics, we then used what we learned to help us in our proposal of costs.
OUR RESPONSE
After winning the tender, our designers began developing existing designs to bring them to a level which reflected the class and elegance which is synonymous with the Tresor Paris brand. We then applied this sleek look over a variety of POS and other materials, including everything from perfect- bound brochures to full bus wraps.
Construction
Creating all the necessary outputs for Tresor Paris required a whopping 89% of our in-house machines to be utilised. And by using a combination of print and print finishing techniques we were able to hit deadlines and produce the highest quality products.
Result
Since acquiring our first Tresor Paris tender in 2013, we have continued to build a strong working relationship and have been given the opportunity to help the brand grow even further.
