Purpose Since the modern industry relies heavily on Cloud Computing and Storage for its
employees' day-to-day tasks, using the Microsoft SharePoint platform is crucial for
Sime Darby Property employees to deliver and manage their daily tasks. Therefore,
we are looking to redesign, as well as improve the look and feel of our SharePoint
portal, particularly the landing page.

Sime Darby Property has successfully migrated all its servers and applications to
the Azure Cloud, a Microsoft cloud computing platform used by large businesses
both locally and globally. The migration is part of our long-standing collaboration with
Microsoft, which predates the demerger.

Hence, this initiative to refresh and improve the SharePoint portal will mark another
significant milestone in our digital transformation journey, allowing us to accelerate
our path to organisational and operational excellence.

Objectives • The portal design needs to be modern, minimalistic, fresh and mobile, with a
consistent look and feel across all pages. Please refer to the SharePoint
Refresh PDF attached.

• Besides aesthetics, it is vital to improve users’ experience through design,
navigation and search capabilities.

• The vendor is required to redesign the SharePoint portal as suggested in the
PDF attached and add new applications in the SharePoint portal’s landing page
such as image and video gallery (Ref in PDF: #7) and upcoming events
calendar (Ref in PDF: #8), etc. The vendor may find the proposed applications
in the PDF attached.

• The new design should be compliant with 3rd party or open API for future
integrations.
