About the Employment History and the Sexual Coercion of Teresa Williams - #Michael Ayele (a.k.a) W - #Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) in the University of North Carolina (UNC)
When disclosing very limited records acknowledging the month of April as “Sexual Assault Awareness Month,” the University of North Carolina (UNC) denied holding conversations about Teresa Williams as a woman, who [1] was coerced to engage in sexual activity she didn’t consent to during her employment with the Iron Mountain Police Department (IMPD located in the State of Michigan); [2] filed a charge of employment discrimination pursuant to Title VII of the 1964 and 1991 Civil Rights Act as a direct consequence of the sexual coercion she experienced; [3] was informed by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) that her charge of employment discrimination would not be referred to the Department of Justice (DOJ) for prosecution; [4] is not legally represented by the DOJ in the complaint she filed with the United States District Court in Michigan; [5] may be seen (by the courts) as having “less merit than” other U.S government employees, who were legally represented by the DOJ following the filing of their complaint pursuant to Title VII of the 1964 and 1991 Civil Rights Act.

As a matter of principle, the Association for the Advancement of Civil Liberties (AACL) unequivocally condemns violence committed against women irrespective of their racial backgrounds, their sexual orientations, their national origins, their religious affiliations, their disability status, their age groups and/or their disability status. It is the judgment of the AACL (based on the definition provided by the University of Missouri – Kansas City for what constitutes “sexual coercion”) that the Title VII complaint filed by Teresa Williams should have been referred by the EEOC to the DOJ for prosecution. Regrettably, this didn’t happen. The AACL wishes Teresa Williams well in her future endeavors. Take care. Keep yourselves at arms distance.

Michael A.
