I am very thankful to the Lord that He is always here

to help us. Also, I’m grateful that I am now part of
the Music Team in our service. I’m one of the singers
who leads our community in singing praises to God.
Wishing you and your loved ones God’s wonderful
gifts of faith, hope, peace, and love at Christmas-time
and always.
May God’s blessings be with you.

I am now in grade 9. This year is really a busy one!
But I will not give up. I know that God is with me. He
will never leave me nor forsake me. Also, I’m happy to
share that I am now learning how to play drums. It’s
challenging yet I am enjoying playing the drums.
May you and your family have a peaceful

It is my dream to be an English teacher someday. I
would like to teach the children to be not afraid and
instead, be confident of using this universal language.
I am so glad that God uses people like you to help
us. I pray for good health and safety for you and your
family.
I promise that I will do my best. I will study hard.

I am a grade 10 student. My favorite subject
is English. I do know that I’m not yet really good
in communicating using this language. But, soon,
I believe that I can speak in English clearly and
fluently.
When I go to college, I want to study about
business. I’d like to have my own company someday.
So, I really need to study hard. I am hopeful that
there is a bright future for me.
I pray to God that in your daily lives, He will
give you strength, guidance and peace. May you and
your family be always filled with joy.
Thank you,

I just want to greet you a MERRY CHRISTMAS and

I would love to share with you that I am now in Grade 10
at D.C. Nicolas Sr. School. I know how to play the guitar. Now,
I’m learning how to play the piano. I’m happy and thankful for
this opportunity to learn playing such musical instruments.
Hoping that you will feel the love of God this Christmas
and the peace that He brings this coming New Year!
I am really thankful that God uses you as an instrument
to bless me. I wish that all of your prayers will be answered.
May your faith with God continue to grow and to bear fruits.

some highlights and updates about myself. I am now in 5th
year Accountancy and I must say that it’s been a challenging
year for me. It is a year of stretching, of endurance and most of
all a year where I got to know the Lord even more. For when
I am weak, He is strong indeed. There are two more semesters
for me to go until I finish my course and will be reviewing for
my boards after.
Thank you for being part of my journey of faith! I will be
forever grateful to you. Please know that I am always praying
for you and your family. May you be blessed this Christmas
even more—good health and long life! And let us not forget
that He is the reason for the season.

Dearest Kind Sponsors,
A Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all!
This season reminds me of the love, encouragement and
support you have and are giving me. Thank you very much for being
so mightily used by God as channels of His blessings and grace.
As you may know, I graduated from high school in May of
this year and I am now on the 7th month of my pre-Harvard gap
year. There are so many things that are keeping me happily busy and
I wish to share some of them with you!
EDUCATIONAL: I am reading as much as I can about a
wide variety of topics. Right now, I am reading the New York Times-
-Guide to Essential Knowledge and foreign newspapers such as the
New York Times and the Financial Times. I am also watching free
Math tutorials online to help me close my learning gaps in the subject.
LIFE-PRACTICAL: One of the many things I am very
excited about going to college is the prospect of being independent.
I understand it will be challenging so as early as now, I am trying to
prepare. I am learning how to drive, cook, do my own laundry, etc.
LIFE-ENRICHING: I have conducted a few theater sessions
for my fellow scholars, who are also farmers' children at GreenEarth.
Just this month, I taught the kids how to make Christmas trees using old
magazines--how they loved the activity! Right now, I am also learning
how to play the guitar. Lastly, I am doing some travelling around the
country, based on the resources available in our foundation and that
which I can raise.
“One thing I have desired of the Lord, this My motivation for travelling is to be familiar with the cultures,
only do I seek; that I may dwell in the traditions and everything the Philippines has to offer so that I can be a
good ambassador for my country at Harvard University and represent
house of the Lord all the days of my life ...” it well.
Psalm 27:4 During this gap year, I am blessed to be able to fulfill my
desire to offer a message of hope, through my God-given story, to
thousands of rural poor and youth groups around the country, who
are buried deep in destitution, hopelessness and despair. So far,
through the goodness of the Lord, I have been to Bulacan, Isabela,
Quezon Province and I am scheduled to go to Bicol early this month.
Words cannot express how much I am enjoying my time off. I
pray that the second half of my gap year will be even more fun, more
educational and more life-enriching.
I wish to keep you posted about my gap year trips and activities
so I invite you to follow my Facebook page, I Hear My Country
Calling, where I post all my reflections.
Once again, THANK YOU very much for all that you have
done and are doing to help me grow and succeed holistically. I pray
that love, joy and peace will warm your household this Christmas and
may this warmth remain with you throughout the coming year.
With much love and gratitude,
Rom
