‘I can listens and discriminate sounds.’

Doing listening games can be done anywhere and at any
time of the day.

Anytime you are out a walk, ask your child what do they
hear? Do they hear the cars, the birds or the ice cream

van!
Sitting in the garden – what can you hear?
At home, ask them to stop and listen – what noises to

they hear in the house?
There is also ‘children listening games’ on youtube – these
are fun games that play different sounds such as animals

and it is about your child guessing and being able to
discriminate what the sound is!
