‘I can identify words that sound the same and rhyme’

Can you go on a rhyme hunt and find these items around
your household:

*pan *jar *chair *sock
*block
*can *car *bear

Can you match the two items you have found that sound
the same together? Point to each item and emphasise the
sounds in each word and create a listening game. “Can and
sock, do they sound the same? – no! Bear and chair do they

sound the same – yes!”

Can you find any other items that rhyme in your house?
