Malcolm Caine Malcolm Caine is a Lead Independent Consultant of IQS International, and
provides training, implementation and software support services to the SHEQ
(Lead Independent and Food Safety Sector in Southern Africa. Malcolm has a wide experience of
Consultant: IQS industry in the UK, West and Eastern Europe, North Africa and for the last 20
International) years has been implementing Quality and Food Safety Management Systems
in South Africa.

Malcolm is also the MD of MaXsimise Control Solutions, which was
established to provide professional SHEQ and Food Safety services 16 years

Volker von Marsh Risk Consulting (MRC) has been globalising its service offerings since
Widdern 2003 and Volker led this initiative for the Marsh ISO region (Latin America,
CA(SA) MBA Africa, Asia and Australia / NZ) from 2004 for 3 years. From 2009 to 2011,
Volker was responsible for the strategic development of the Middle East and
(MD: Marsh Africa Africa risk consulting practices, which resulted in the formalisation of this

Volker is a member of the MRC Global Senior Leadership Group, representing
certain global MRC projects and is actively engaged in the development and

the global MRC strategies. In this role he has participated in various team

Tracey Linnell Tracey Linnell has been involved in Business Continuity Management (BCM)
and ICT Continuity since 2003. She has completed a B.Com (Information
(GM: Advisory Technology) with honours at the University of Johannesburg. She is a

Imran Vanker Imran is a Chartered Accountant and Registered Auditor. He is the Director of
Standards at the Independent Audit Regulator, the IRBA, and has been a
(Director of member of the Executive Team at the Auditor General for 10 years. His
Standards: IRBA) career started with KPMG, and he left the KPMG practice in the position of
partner in their assurance practice. He is an audit and governance specialist
with broad experience in private practice and public sector auditing in South
Africa and at the United Nations. Imran’s specialty includes public sector
auditing and governance, audits of multilateral international organisations,
international accounting and auditing standards, risk management and
governance arrangements.

Terrance Terrance served most of his professional career in the SA financial services
Booysen market where he fulfilled a number of senior management positions across the
retail, commercial and corporate banking sector at Barclays Bank Plc, Santam
(CEO: CGF Bank, First National Bank and Nedcor Group.

Terrance has been widely recognised for his thought leadership and
innovative approach and as an independent executive consultant, he is sought

Bernard Bernard has had years of experience in the technical departments of the
Peter Agulhas offices of the Auditor-General and the South African Institute of Chartered
Accountants (SAICA). His diligence, hard work and aptitude saw him rising
(CEO: IRBA) through the ranks to his current position as the Chief Executive Officer at the
Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors (IRBA). Here he is tasked with
ensuring that the auditing standards around South Africa are upheld and
