Rising Vision: Baliwag’s Skill Building Nears Completion with Focus on Inclusivity Baliwag, Bulacan T he Baliwag Skills and Development Livelihood Building, spanning 189.60 square meters across two stories, is designed to accommodate specific functions. The first floor is dedicated to laboratory and training sessions, while the second floor functions as lecture room and office space for training facilitators. Both levels feature effective ventilation and gender-segregated restrooms. Guimba’s Solution to Flooding Challenges Guimba, Nueva Ecija T he Local Government Unit of Guimba, Nueva Ecija, proudly unveiled the newly constructed Drainage Canal in the municipality. Funded under the FY 2022 SGLGIF Program, this project was designed to divert the floodwaters surging from Brgy. Cawayan Bugtong, which has historically caused the nearby Brgy. Saranay to serve as an unfortunate catch basin during heavy rains. The new canal will now function as a waterway, allowing floodwaters to flow away from Brgy. Saranay, sparing its residents from the distress of flooding.
