In this period of time renaissance architects studies
greek roman ruins and they modeled their own
buildings.Classical architecture influenced
renaissance builders.Humanist scholars of the
renaissance were influenced by classical ideas.

Architects came up with new ideas. Wealthy
families built private palazzi.The palazzis had shops
on the first floor. They were particularly attracted to
round arches and domed roofs.

Donatello was one of the first sculptors to use the new,
more lifelike style. A good example was his statue of david,
the young warrior in the bible story. His work influenced
Florence’s other great sculptor, Michelangelo.

Michelangelo created his own version of David, carved in
white marble. It stood 17 feet tall and it famed as an ideal of
male beauty. It became prized expression of Renaissance
genius in Florence. Michelangelo had an enormous
influence on other artists.

back then to the people? Well, it advanced in many ways.
Some of the advances was when the writer wrote about
non-religious topics, the world around them, themselves,
and they used to use impersonal styles.

One reason that literature advanced was because The
topics were usually non-religious. For example, Dante’s the
Divine comedy highlights strong emotion. It was also social
commentary too. It became a model to other renaissance
writers.

Another reason that literature advanced was that they wrote
about the world around them. In medieval times, writers
wrote in Latin and religion. Renaissance writers were
interested in individual experience and gave more thought
and feelings into their work.

Lastly, renaissance writers advanced in literature is
because far more writers wrote in Latin. As a result, far
more people can read their work. They became more
individual.
