Describe How Helping at Home Develops Your Character

Introduction

Nowadays, we can see that certain of the child from the family were more depended to
their parents or maids to complete all the task at their home. The task mentioned include tidying
up the rooms, sweeping the floor, cooking, laundry jobs and others. Actually, helping at home is
a good and best thing to do in order to be an authoritative human beings. Helping our family
members like our father, mother, brothers and sisters will produce good attitudes from our soul
without us noticing that. The good characters that have been born from ourself not only give
advantages for our family but also give thousands of benefits to the society if we give them our
donations in the form of energy to help them in certain things. However, a question that often
hovers in this mind is how helping at home develops my character?

Body 1

First of all, helping at home make me a person who like to help people in trouble. It is
shown when I saw some people who are in trouble or need help, I will automatically give them my
hand without asking. As an example, when I am used to help my siblings at home to do their
homework if they have problems to understand or solve that problem and when I am outside, like
in school, I will automatically help my friends who are in trouble in certain subjects to help them
improve their understanding. It is because, I am very understand and know how hard the situation
if I were in their shoes so that I will help them to let that problems go from their shoulders. In the
same time, I hope that if I always help people who are in trouble, Allah will send many other
person to help me if I were in trouble and have difficulties to solve the problems. As the idiom
said, ‘what you give, you get back’. In addition, my habit that I love to help people in trouble was
manifested when I helped an old woman to across the busy road. I was very worried about the
safety of that old woman. Thus, in a flash, I led her hand and take her across the street safely.
For that reason, clearly that helping at home make me a person who like to help people in trouble.

Body 2

On the other hand, helping at home make me as a disciplined student. It is validated when
I can be a discipline student and follow all the rules in the school without feeling hard to do it. For
instance, when I am at hostel, I will wake up earlier than my other friends and immediately tidy up
my bed and prepare myself to the class when I used to wake up early in the morning at home to
help my mother clean the house and prepare breakfast. It is because, when I wake up early, I will
never feel rush to prepare myself to school instead of I can use my time to other benefit things
like reading Al-Quran, doing homework or reading books. I will also can help the teachers to bring
their bags and other things to the teacher’s room. By that, I can repay all the services of teachers
who have worked hardly to teach and educate me before although I know that my help cannot
repay all their good deeds to me. Furthermore, I will make sure that I will iron my siblings and my
school uniform before we go to the school. It is because I love the cleanliness and tidiness. I do
not like to seem as a sloopy student in the school. It will cause my family’s image become bad
from the views of society, especially when I come from the famous and well-known family. So, I
will always try hardly to maintain our family’s dignity by having good attitudes whenever and
wherever I go. Therefore, obviously that helping at home make me as a disciplined student.

Body 3

Apart from that, helping at home also make me as a clean person. It can be proven when
I will be a clean and hate-dirty person wherever I go like in public place, school or hometown. For
example, when I am at class or hostel, I cannot see any rubbish or dirty things there. If I see them,
I will immediately collect or clean it before anyone asked me to do it. It is because, I had used to
be like that at home where I will help my parents to always clean the house before my parents
asked me to do it. So, my house will always clean and we will not feel panic if some guest come
to our house out of the blue. Moreover, I also help my father to clean and wash his car including
vacuum it without his instruction. It is because, when I see his car was dirty and dusty, my heart
kept beating to clean it as soon as possible as what I said before, ‘I hate dirty things’. Aside from
dirty, I also hate smelly things. I still remember that I had reprimanded my best friend about her
body odour. By the advice, I did not have any intention to make her ashamed but my intention
just to make her more confident in the class since many of her friends seem to be unpleased
about her body odour. We cannot give one hundred percent fault on her shoulder about her body
odour,because maybe she had try hardly to take care of it but the body size of a person also
contribute to give an uncomfortable smell from that person. Thus, clearly that helping at home
make me as a clean person.

Conclusion

As a conclusion, cannot be denied that helping at home can develop my characters.
Helping at home can make me a person who love to help people in trouble, be a disciplined
student and a clean person. All this character and behavior are very important in life in order to
be a good role model to other. Plus, Nabi Muhammad SAW, who is a good role model for all the
muslims said that the cleanliness is the part of faith. So, admittedly that cleanliness is the most
important things in each individual principle in order to have better quality of the life. Additionally,
that characters cannot be born from someone’s soul just in one day, but they can be born from a
child. So, is already a responsibility for parents to teach their child doing some tasks in the house.
So that, they will be a hardworking person in future and avoided from be a lazy individual.
Furthermore, good characters and behaviors are also powerful with the aim of giving the best
leader for our country.
