Botox

BOTOX® is made from the bacteria that causes botulism. Botulinum toxin blocks nerve activity in the muscles. As
the treated muscles relax, dynamic wrinkles and lines created by their contraction gradually fade, and sometimes
even disappear completely resulting in smooth skin. The possible treatment areas for BOTOX® include forehead
lines, frown lines, bunny lines, crow’s feet, slimming of the jaw, dimpled chin, gummy smile, lip lines and so much
more. BOTOX® injections are safe when administered by an experienced practitioner with extensive knowledge of
facial anatomy. Once injected, it begins to take effect about 24 – 72 hours after. Its maximal effects are seen 1 -2

weeks following the injections. The effects are not permanent and lasts about 3 -6 months after which the
injections may be repeated.

Results
The beautiful, natural looking results gradually take effect over the two weeks following your treatment and can
last up to 3 or 6 months. We advise our patients to expect peak results after 4 to 6 weeks and to bear this in mind
when planning for a special event. Results typically last 3 to 4 months and we recommend regular touch ups to

maintain results.
