Ankle clamp goes on the side that has the arrow.

Pre-Prep Step 2

Assembly of Distal Femoral Cutting Guide

Notes :

Use a 5 Deg attachment to clip into the distal cut block. Finger tighten set screws. Align the left
/ right orientation to the correct operative side. The slotted attachment slides on from the
distal tip of the rod with the left / right markings facing the ceiling. T handle connects last.

Notes :

Assemble Hudson adapter with the femoral drill and connect to the drill handpiece.

Assemble oscillating sawblade to the saw handpiece

Notes :

Correct operative side orientation (No. 1) on the face of the sizer and add the feet from the
opposite side of the sizer. Depress the button on the side (No. 2) to line it to 3 Deg. Rotate the
knob (No. 3) on the top / side so that the correct operative side is facing the ceiling.

Notes :

Remove the Hudson adapter from the drill handpiece and place the wire driver. Use a Kocher
forceps and 2 long smooth pins to secure assembled tibial cut guide to the bone.

Step 3

Distal Femoral Resection

Notes :

Ensure proper left / right orientation on the attachment and the jig. Ensure placement of the 5
Deg attachment in the primary slot. Using the wire driver, secure the DFCG to the bone using 2
long smooth pins.
Loosen the set screw. Pull T handle and rod out leaving the DFCG in place

Femoral Sizing

Notes :

For Anterior referencing, leave two smooth pins. For Posterior referencing, make holes in the
posterior aspect. Arrive at size and pick out the corresponding 5 in 1 block.

Notes :

Thread handle into distal hole.
2 threaded pins for secure fixation

Gap Balancing

Notes :

Use a 9mm spacer block with alignment rod
