FROM OUR PRESIDENT'S DESK
Divaker Reddy
Wishing all members of the RCSW family a very Happy, Healthy
and Prosperous 2021.
I take this opportunity to congratulate everyone for making District
Governor's official visit to our Club a grand success.
Our District Governor was extremely impressed and very happy
with our projects, reportage and processes followed by our Club.
The inauguration of Rotary Agri processing unit, recognition of
Farmers by presenting Awards and the establishment of an RCC
(Rotary Community Corp) in Vikarabad District were all hailed.
Six months of the Rotary year are over. We have six months more
to complete the tasks we set for ourselves at the beginning of the
year.
The two Global Grants projects need our full attention since the
important task of mobilising funds is to be done.
We have to gird our loins and get down to the task to achieve our
goals. I am sure, as in the past, our members will rise as one and see
that no stone remains unturned to achieve our goals.
Once more I wish everyone a very happy and fruitful 2021.

EMERGEX V6.0 ON 12 DEC & V7.0 ON 30 DEC 2020
298 Participants
There was a double damaka for EmergeX Career Seminar in Dec 2020. Two events
were conducted during the month - 12th Dec (Version 6) & 30th Dec (Verion 7).
Dr.Sushi Madhira a Career counselling expert spoke on "New Age Careers and
skills required to achieve them" and the participants were students from various
schools (X, XI, XII Std) and college. This event was very well conducted by the
students team from Interact Club of Sister Nivedita School (sponsored by RC
Hyderabad North) and the event was supported by RC Bhuvanagiri (Students from
Jagruti Degree College, Bhuvanagiri joined the Seminar). There were more than
300 participants in the Seminar and it was a talk of the town as students liked the
presentation and the inputs provided. We had to forcibly close the session as
students were so enthusiastic in interacting with the Speaker.
Impressed with the speaker and the content, Sister Nivediata School Management
requested for a repeat session on 30th Dec to cover the 8th and 9th class students
along with their parents. This session was held on 30th Dec and saw nearly 200
participants actively participating with session running more than 30 minutes
over the scheduled time. This time again, the event was end to end presented by
the Students in a very professional manner.
EmergeX is a not just a platform for career guidance and discussing future
technologies but also a provides an opportunity for youngsters to exhibit their
talents/skills. All the participants where overwhelmed with the Seminar and
extremely thankful for conducting this program.
