LIFE IS TOO SHORT … Seneca once wrote: “It is not that we have a short time to live, but that we waste a lot of it. Life is long enough, and a sufficiently generous amount has been given to us for the highest achievements if it were all well invested. But when it is wasted in heedless luxury and spent on no good activity, we are forced at last by death’s final constraint to realize that it has passed away before we knew it was passing. So it is: we are not given a short life but we make it short, and we are not ill-supplied but wasteful of it… Life is long if you know how to use it.” These sentences have made me realized that we must utilize our life with good flows. We must planning our daily life so it is not a waste to live .. From the article , I know I must achieve something in my life since I already learned in subject UED102 study skills about on how managing my time, my schedule and making a goal. Maybe in university, I must achieve a great result to make everyone proud, maybe I should live learning about how to make money in term to live longer in this cruel-money world, or maybe I just have to obey to the ONE who makes this world (ALLAH S.W.T) and everything will be better with HIS great plans. But nobody else on the planet can live your life and carry out your good deeds. REMEMBER THIS ! You have a purpose in this world; you were made to do goods. Plus, there are those people in your life whom you can love and serve more effectively than anyone else. Your highest achievement will be different from anyone else, but we all have one and we all should be proud of ours ! although life is beautiful, it is not always easy. It has challenges,too and the task is to face them head-on with courage. Life’s beauty can work as a balm to lessen the pain by giving hope during difficult times. Those who believe that good times never end are more susceptible to pressure when things get tough. They do not exert the necessary effort and hard labour since they are easily damaged.
