Multiple-tier Timelines

Multiple-tier timelines use two or more rows of events.
While each row represents a different subject, the time
period is the same.

Multiple-tier timelines can be used to help us look at
cause and effect relationships or patterns and themes
among events in a specific period of time.

We will be using a multi-tier timeline to show the rise
and fall of four early civilizations in the Americas: The
Mississippian, Inca, Maya, and Aztec and look for
RELATIONSHIPS between the dates.

The
Mississippians

The Mississippian people were a unique
civilization that truly proved that relationships are
powerful. One way that the mississippian people
powerfully kept their civilization alive was through a
strong system of government. The people were led
by whom they called their Son. The Sun chef
directly communicated with the gods and the
people listened to him because of this connection.
The society was also arranged in a powerful way.
There were four social classes: The Sun, The Nobles,
The Honored Men\ Women and The Lower Class.
The Lower Class had the most important job in term
of keeping the civilization going. The Mississippians
had a powerful religion. The people worshiped The
Sun and believed that serpents had mystical
powers. They built temples and mounds to worship.
As you can see this fantastic proved that
relationships are powerful.

interesting topic about the Aztecs is their government Despite his
power the Huey Tlatoani had to tell the nobles before he made
decisions. The Aztecs and their government what a close relationship
but their leader ¨Huey Tlatoani¨ if he was making a decision he
would have to talk to the nobles first. Except for all that, the
government and the people had a really close relationship. last but
not least my favorite topic was their jobs and what they did in their
daily life. The Aztecs made a lot of pottery, pots, artwork, and bowls.
They traded their artwork. They would trade their artwork to get the
money it would help them live their life and they got paid to make
the art. They would not only get paid to trade the art they would
get paid to make it they would make pots, artwork, and bowls.
