NEWS UPDATE - FALL/WINTER 2021
Leaning into the heart of Atlanta
440 Ralph McGill Blvd NE. A building in the heart of Atlanta:
walking distance to Wellstar Hospital, Georgia State
University, the Eastside Atlanta Beltline and Ponce City
Market. It is surrounded by the city - home to many singles,
students, and vulnerable populations. And now it is
Pregnancy Aid Clinic's third clinic location.
This third PAC clinic, currently under refurbishment, will
serve women and families in need of help and hope.
Archbishop Gregory Hartmayer will bless the clinic on
December 14, asking the Lord to protect and bless all the
clients who are served within its walls.
As the Catholic-endorsed pregnancy resource in Atlanta, PAC's expansion in the city is imperative. The number of abortions in
Georgia has been on the rise for three years as reported by the Georgia Department of Public Health. Women continue to feel
pressure to make an impulsive decision due to stress, mental health, financial burdens, and a variety of factors. At least nine
abortion clinics in our area make for easy access to pregnancy termination. Families need options, medical services and caring
people to deliver messages of hope. This third location will provide an in-town space for women, men and families to receive
the help they need.
This new location has received so much support from our community and donors. The Knights of
Columbus Our Lady of La Salette Council #8376 from the Catholic Church of St. Ann in Marietta have
raised funds to equip PAC Atlanta with a new ultrasound machine. The Knights of Columbus Holy
Trinity Council #8081 have donated to buy PAC Atlanta a Trophon, a necessary piece of ultrasound
sanitation technology. Pregnancy Aid Clinic has received an outpouring of support to get this project
off the ground. Thanks to all our parish communities and donors, we are expanding from Forest Park
and Roswell with another place to support life, empower women and men to grow as parents, heal
from the past and claim their dignity.
From the desk of Lisa Regan,
PAC Executive Director
Dear Friends,
I sometimes wonder what Jesus would think about our country’s deliberations on
the value of life. How would He feel about the tug-of-war that draws lines between
a child in the womb and a newborn? In a confused world, what would Jesus do? It’s
a question we need to ask and answer daily. As our Clinic ventures into new
territory in the heart of Atlanta, we prepare to reveal the face and compassion of
Christ to more women, men and families in need of hope and healing.
With your help, we draw on corporal and spiritual works of mercy to help preserve the preciousness of
life and family. We need prayer. We need funding for services. We need engagement. It takes all of us to
be the boots-on-the ground resource to serve more students, singles and vulnerable families in Atlanta.
We are grateful for everyone who helped make for a successful September Evening for Life event,
featuring Dr. William Lile. Dr. Lile’s energy and passion for treating babies in the womb as patients with
rights and individual needs is an encouragement for our work to help people claim their God-given
dignity.
I look forward to seeing you at our new clinic blessing or one of our open houses this December.
Together, we can be the light that overcomes!
God Bless you.

Client highlight
A place for hope
When Client G spoke to her Client Advocate last month, she was due in just a
few days. Her words were full of joy and expectation as she anticipated the birth
of her first child. The fear of what was coming was far outweighed by the hopes,
plans, dreams, and love she had for her baby boy.
Experiencing this abundant joy wasn't always the case for Client G. Just eight
months ago (worried she may be pregnant) she was depressed, frustrated and
felt "like a mad woman" during a pandemic. Googling for help, she found her way
to PAC. "They were able to accommodate me during COVID. I felt so comfortable
and safe; I really felt at home with them," she said.
When discussing options with her Client Advocate, Client G was able to open up
about her concerns. She felt heard. She was able to relax and focus on the
important decision in front of her. Given the opportunity to slow down, she
realized that her unborn baby was truly a blessing.
As her due date approaches, she said, "the pregnancy has been quite a
challenge for me, but I am really enjoying the 'kicks' and my mother instinct is
setting in. I am so excited to meet my baby."
Client G adds, "My advice to my fellow sisters is whatever you are going
through, there is a place for you here. [PAC] gives you comfort and a place
to feel accepted. You may look at your situation as impossible, but with God
there is always possibility. Just look at me and how far I have come."
PATH program highlight
PATH offers retreats, Bible studies,
mentorship and aftercare focused on spiritual
healing for women and men affected by an
abortion experience. Our SaveOne abortion
recovery Bible studies meet once a week for
approximately 12 weeks in small groups. The
study provides a safe and confidential
environment in which to grieve and heal from
the pain of one's past. Classes are offered
separately for both men and women. They are
offered both virtually and in person, during
the day or evening. The Bible Study is also
available in Spanish.

Why Do I Give?
Jeanette and Ron Cobb have been strong pro-life supporters
throughout their 55 years of marriage. Jeanette marched in the
first March for Life in Washington D.C. in 1974, on the
anniversary of Roe vs. Wade being passed. Jeanette says,
“Women have been given a beautiful gift to bear a child.
By supporting the mother emotionally and physically
during the pregnancy term, we are protecting the
unborn in those early weeks and months.”
Jeanette and Ron Cobb have supported PAC since they attended their first PAC Gala in 2018. Ron says, “We
are grateful for the opportunity to support PAC and other organizations which advocate for the unborn. We
encourage others to follow our example.”
Five years ago, a new abortion clinic opened in their neighborhood. Hearing this devastating news, Jeanette
and Ron rallied and prayed in front of the abortion clinic with many pro-life individuals, and soon thereafter,
the doors closed. “Instead of coping with feelings of abandonment and confusion, a new mother can rely on
the compassionate team at PAC to walk with her. God’s love for His human family knows no bounds. We
support PAC financially because their efforts have a ripple effect, touching many lives and families.”
Jeanette and Ron’s ongoing support for PAC stems from their belief that life begins at conception, and it
should be protected by action and by law until natural death. They live in Marietta, GA and have three
children, five grandsons and one great grandson (for now). “We pray diligently for the safety of all the
unborn and for the amendment of current abortion laws.”
