NEWS UPDATE - SUMMER 2022

Abortion Pill Reversal: Medical care gives hope to women

When Client O found out she was pregnant, she decided she needed to
take responsibility for her actions. She decided to quietly get an abortion
without consulting her boyfriend or family, feeling it would be better to
just take care of it. She took the first of two prescribed abortion
pills in an attempt to end her pregnancy. As soon as she left her
abortion appointment, she felt regret. Feeling isolated and unable
to turn to her family and friends, she immediately sought medical
treatment to reverse the effects of the abortion procedure and found
the abortion pill reversal hotline through a Google search. She then was
quickly referred to PAC for an ultrasound and advocacy.
She arrived at PAC a ball of stress and anxiety. She had not slept in days since the abortion began,
fearing for the life of her child. The PAC staff cared for her with love and respect as the ultrasound was
prepared. When Client O saw her baby's heartbeat, she was flooded with relief and excitement. She
and her child had been given a second chance. She immediately called her family and her boyfriend and they
were all excited for the news of the pregnancy.
Client O said she regrets not taking the time to talk to her support system prior to starting her abortion
procedure. She now knows she has support from her family and PAC, and is grateful that the abortion pill reversal
process has given her preborn son a chance to live. Join in prayers for this mother as she prepares to welcome
another son into the world this fall.

From the desk of Lisa Regan,
PAC Executive Director

Dear Friends,

Can I get an Amen?? While I am never surprised at what the hand of God can
do, I have no adequate words for this moment in history. Georgia’s LIFE Act
protects the beating hearts of preborn babies and opens doors to softening
the hearts of people in despair and crisis. Together, we can build a culture of
life through our words, deeds and authentic love for all human life. Now is the
time to wrap our arms around every pregnant woman who has lost hope. Now
is the time to open our hearts to fathers who have lost their way, and families
overwhelmed with complicated lives.

Our team at PAC is full steam ahead with expanded services, accurate information and tangible support for
people needing real help and straight answers. I call myself blessed to be linking arms with our extended
PAC family of faithful believers in the power of life. Thank you for your trust in us to serve more, be more,
deliver more to people who will now put LIFE higher up on their menu of options.

God bless you for your joyful perseverance to protect and cherish the sanctity of life.

For Life,

Lisa Regan, Executive Director

Where Hope and Healing Meet

Even though we are now in a post-Roe era, the fight to
end abortion is not over. In fact, it has just begun at the
state level. Our work at PATH continues and we have
even more work to do as we continue to offer hope and
healing to women and men wounded by abortion.

PATH’s mentorship program offers one-on-one support If you or someone you know is wounded by abortion

Why We Give

Donor found his pro-life mission through his children

Mitch Bernet has been against abortion all his life. He grew up in a
family that respects the dignity of every person and he lived with
that dignity in the forefront as he raised his kids. It wasn’t until his
kids went to school, however, that he got introduced to the pro-life
movement and the options and resources available to women. At
Pinecrest Academy, Mitch and his wife Rosanna met many families
with adopted children, putting a face to the abstract concept of
adoption. Through his children's friendships, their attendance at
the March for Life and a school-organized diaper drive for PAC,
Mitch learned more about what it means to defend every life.

Mitch and Rosanna Bernet and their children. Mitch shared that he never considered there were other options
besides traditional parenthood and abortion. "When I was
younger, I never thought about it," Mitch said, impressed
with his children's knowledge and hearts to serve. "It's
important to share options for [pregnancy]." When Mitch and
Rosanna learned about PAC's mission five years ago, they knew
they had to get involved. The Bernets have been generous donors
of PAC for years now, truly living the mission they discovered
through their children.
