This Quantity Surveying Guide book is prepared for the purpose of assisting students undertaking the Quantity Surveying program / course in public or private institutions of higher learning in their quantity measurement for building works item and the preparation of Bill of Quantity (BQ) documents. This book provides complete notes, method of measurement, format of BQ table and method of work descriptions. This book has been prepared based on the rules of measurement according to the standard method of measurement set by the Malaysian Standard Method of Measurement of Building Works, 2nd Edition (SMM2) which was launched in May 2000 by The Institution of Surveyors Malaysia. Hopefully, this book can benefit students throughout their studies.
