Interactive 3
GENTINGCASINO.COM
Earlier this year, we kicked off
a project to bring together our
interactive and land based
web content, presenting
Genting as a single customer-
facing destination, both on
and off line.
The rationale is to streamline
and slim down our web
presence by combining
content from our .co.uk
and .com websites into one
domain, gentingcasino.com
This will allow us to:
• IMPROVE Genting’s presence in search engines such as Google
• Present both the land based and interactive channels as
one business
• Ensure all content is presented in a responsive and device
relevant format
• Open-up opportunities for cross sell and multi-channel product
• Improve the overall perception of Genting as an emerging
player in the interactive gaming arena
• Give complete visibility of analytics across all Genting Casino
web traffic
The new site is being built on the existing .com framework, meaning little will change from an interactive perspective. However,
the land based casino content will appear in newly designed templates, which fit nicely within the context of the existing .com
site design.
In the short term, land based casino content will continue to be managed via the existing content management system and will
be largely subject to the same procedures. This will help to minimise disruption of existing work flows which are in place for Casino
Marketing Advocates and General Managers. Any new or updated content is
passed from the .co.uk content management system, into the .com website
via a series of cleverly designed data feeds.
Longer term, a full migration to the .com
content management system will be
developed. By the time of going to print our
new single website will soon be going live and
we look forward to hearing what you think.

At the start of October, Genting Club Star City welcomed the UK and Ireland Poker Tour, run by
Pokerstars. And, they also welcomed a number of famous names, with Jake Cody, Chris Moneymaker
and Liv Boeree joining other players in the Main Event to create a prize fund in excess of £160,000.
Entry levels for the side events varied from £165 to £2,200. The cash game action was
moved to the Salle Privee area which proved really popular with the players where we
peaked at nine cash games on our busiest night. Both Gaming and Hospitality saw
steady business with players enjoying the varied facilities of the venue.
A cracking atmosphere emanated from the Casino over the four days of the
event plus Star City now has the distinction of being the host of the final ever
UKIPT event as Pokerstars rebrands its poker tour.

Electronic Gaming
During the summer, Genting International Casino hosted its Hot Manager
Shots slots tournaments. Games were run using the Novomatic reel
tournament system and with a daily first prize of £1000 up for grabs,
customer engagement was extremely high. Over the eight weeks,
the GIC slots team did a fantastic job hosting over 1800 customers
who also helped boost slots income along the way.
The tournament format was simple. Players started with 10,000

The player with the highest score at the end of the tournament was

LIFE’S A BEACH FOR POKER TOURNAMENT
‘The Palm Beach Big Game’ tournament has been a real hit with customers and will take place on the first
Monday of every month. The game has a £1,000 buy-in with an £80 registration fee, which gets you a 20k
starter stack and has 30 minute
clocks throughout.
The first event pulled in nearly 60
entries with eight prizes paid and the first prize
of £20,000 being claimed by Andrew Hulme.
Commenting on the success of the tournament,
Charlie Eaton, said: “We’re always keen to come
up with new ways to get our customers excited
about visiting the casino.
This simple mechanic,
combined with a high prize
value proved to be a real
pull and we’ll be running this
event on the first Monday of
every month going forward.”
