LEO PLEDGE
I Pledge my hands, extended and open to help those in need.
I Pledge my heart, reach for it and it will be touched.
I Pledge my ears, to hear another’s outcry, my eyes, to see the plight of
others, my knowledge, to bring a man closer to his dreams.
I Pledge myself to the betterment of my community, my State and my
Country.
DID YOU KNOW?
SUB-DISTRICT 60B IS A MEMBER OF CONSTITUTIONAL
AREA I (CA1)*
*The United States of America, its Affiliates, Bermuda & The Bahamas and
Multiple District 60 (Lions of the Caribbean)
In 2015, Multiple District 60 (i.e. Sub-District 60Aand Sub-district 60B) was transferred
from Constitutional Area III (Central and South America) to Constitutional Area I. Today,
here are our benefits:
• Language compatibility: We are better able to communicate as the
Constitutional Area I events and paraphernalia/materials are mainly
in English
• Lower transportation costs: Airfare to the various events in this
constitutional area is more manageable
• Greater accessibility: Routes to events in this area are more
accessible
• Cultural compatibility
• Greater training availability
• Enhanced recognition for awards
• International leadership positions
• Enhanced family relationship with international personnel, and
• Higher comfort levels as most Caribbean people have established
personal and commercial relationships with North America.
One of the areas to ensure that you can benefit is from the USA/Canada Leo and Lions
Leadership Forums that are held in July and September, respectively. At these events
you can learn more about the organisation and the many plans or programs that will
affect your Club and District.
