About us

Our park is located close to the historic market town of Appleby in
Westmorland with the stunning castle and Lady Anne Clifford’s Almshouses.
The railway station is on the famous Carlisle-Settle line and is a good place to
see steam trains that often pass through.

Lots of walks straight from your caravan door - a leisurely stroll around
Flakebridge wood or the nearby golf course on Brackenber Moor or for the
more energetic the famous High Cup Nick and The Pennines.

Our park is within easy reach of The Lake District, Yorkshire Dales National
Park, The Pennines and Dumfries and Galloway in Southern Scotland.

Langton Field is a working family farm diversifying into static caravans. Owned
and managed by Gavin and Anya Bell, Gavin is the fourth generation to farm
at Langton Field.

There is a great variety of things to do and places to visit more than anywhere
else in the UK.
Some of our more popular must sees:
Lakes: Windermere, Ullswater, Buttermere and Grasmere.
Fells: Helvellyn, Skiddaw, Cat Bells and Scafell Pike.

The Lake District National Park is a short drive away with the nearest being Lake
Ullswater 19 miles away
