《疫情期间》 陈柔伊 （6C）

疫情期间，9 月 18 日我家发生了非常不幸的事，我的妈妈确诊了新冠肺炎。起
初，妈妈先是头晕，全身乏力……，到了晚上妈妈开始发烧，我和爸爸都很担心，便
让妈妈先用新冠肺炎检测棒检查。但就在这时我们看到检测棒上显示两条杠，这说明
妈妈确诊新冠肺炎了。得知这个晴天霹雳的消息后，我们立马戴上口罩，让妈妈进房
间自我隔离。

妈妈进房间后，爸爸马上让我和他做检测，但有惊无险我和爸爸都是一条杠。
检测后，爸爸告诉我为了安全起见，我们必须要分开睡以防止病毒传染。

第二天早上，爸爸煮好早餐便把食物放在房门口让妈妈吃。下午，妈妈开始呕
吐，头痛。看到妈妈这样痛苦，我真的很担心，很难过。妈妈怕我太担心还是忍着病
痛的折磨，打电话来安慰我。

虽然在这十天内，妈妈反复发烧、没有胃口、腹泻……但她还是很坚强乐观！
庆幸的是，妈妈在两个星期后康复了，我们一家煮了大餐庆祝团圆!这段时间虽然很难
熬，却让我学会了独立一个人睡觉，因为这是我第一次自己一个人睡觉过程是非常惊
心胆跳的，这让我害怕得哭了出来，但我还是成功克制了！

经历了这件事，让我领悟了要珍惜眼前人的道理，不要等到失去了才后悔！

《我就是我》 张竣柏 （2C）

我——张竣柏，今年八岁。我有一头乌黑的短发，圆圆的脸颊。细小的眼睛下
有一个高挺的鼻子。

我是个既开朗又活泼的孩子，在学习班级上，我是班级的开心果；在温馨的家
庭之中，我是家里的欢乐泉源。我总是以笑容感染身边的人，让他们都开开心心的过
每一天。

我的梦想是成为一名伟大的科学家。为了实现我的梦想，我一定会努力学习，
考取好成绩。我也有个小名，那就是‘小爱迪生’。由于我总是不停地发问，势必要
得到答案，因此得了这个小名。

阅读、打篮球、游泳、弹钢琴都是我喜欢做的事。当中，我最喜欢就是弹钢琴。
在弹奏时，我仿佛置身旋律中，快乐欢愉。

这就是我，独一无二的我！我是张竣柏，一个二年级的快乐小生。

《平凡快乐》 马韵颐 4D

平凡，平平无奇。快乐，称心如意的心情。平凡和快乐会碰撞出什么火花呢？

在行动管制令期间，学习和一些家庭功课之余，总是会有一大把时间不能出外
消遣。而这些时间总觉得十分难熬，板着手指头数着过去的每一分每一秒。"滴答滴答
••••••"

在这些时侯，我总会想起书里有一段有趣的一段话"生活就像泡沫，彩色的，
五彩斑斓的，大的，小的••••••"我就决定让自己的家布满这种圆形，美丽的彩虹。

我把杯子装上些水，在那一罐空空的丙烯颜料罐子灌上香气四溢的肥皂水和一
支牙签。大功告成！我把牙签像寿司沾生鱼酱般沾了肥皂水，嘟起嘴来"呼••••••"一
堆美丽的泡沫就在空中绚丽诞生了。弟弟被吸引过来，也跟着戳泡沫，泡沫撒着丫子
逃跑，弟弟在后面追。被弟弟"不幸"逮住的泡沫在空中破灭，浅浅的五颜六色水花在
空中飘舞，美丽动人。这时，我感觉有点累了，坐下来休息看我的成品。而出乎意料
之中，泡沫只有稀稀拉拉几个，弟弟也玩得无精打采。这时，我的余光撇向了正在转
动的风扇。几片风叶快速的转动，发出阵阵清凉的风，被风吹到的泡沫像空中跳舞的
人，飞快的转动着舞姿。

我忽然灵机一动，把泡沫水放在风扇面前，又能让弟弟玩得尽情，又能省下一
些我的"气功"，岂不是一举两得？我期待的把牙签放在面前，心里默默倒数。3，2，
1••••••一道五颜六色的透明彩虹腾空而出。这一串串透明美丽的彩虹分解出一个个
晶莹剔透，绚丽多彩的泡沫。像星星一样多的泡沫浩浩荡荡，场面十分壮观。太阳照
了进来，温和的阳光洒在泡沫每个角落上，显得更加迷人。弟弟也高兴地蹦蹦跳跳，
用手拖着泡沫，目送它远去。

大大的世界藏着小小的快乐，它如同泡沫，平凡而快乐。

新冠病毒啊 风呼呼地吹
你是盛开在邪恶里的食人花 层层乌云飘了过来
张牙舞爪 天空中划过了一道银光
把地球的人们 轰隆隆，轰隆隆······
吞进黑暗的嘴巴
牛毛般细的雨点
勇敢的前线人员 从天而降
为了保护我们 紧接着
不顾生命危险 下起了倾盆大雨
站到了前线 哗啦啦，哗啦啦······
和病毒厮杀
花草树木
我们戴好口罩 高兴得手舞足蹈
关上了门 它们随风摇摆身体
躲进自己的家 清洗着自己身上的灰尘
却透过电视得知你 享受着雨点的清凉
一天比一天巨大 真舒服，真舒服······

我一点儿也不怕 雨点
乖巧的我总是很听话 打在窗上
我知道在不久的将来 打在屋顶上
属于我们的健康 打在街道上
就会重新回来 好像音乐厅里的大合奏
啪啦啦，啪啦啦······
我一点儿也不怕 渐渐地
让我唱起那幸福的歌 风小了
一遍又一遍 雨也停了
传入家家户户 太阳公公探出头来
让大家都感受到温暖吧 一座七彩缤纷的小桥

创造健康的神话 如果我有一个百宝箱,
我要把每一次快乐的时光装进去。

向英雄致敬 变化的成长,
默默等待等灿烂的土地 与家人朋友的相处欢乐,
再开出一朵朵 统统都收藏在里面。
纯洁而芬芳的花 那是我无价之宝的记忆。
当我长大了,
成家立业时,
我会打开百宝箱,
里面所有点点滴滴的回忆
一一与我的孩子们分享。

COVID -19

Time flies. In the blink of an eye, we have lived with Covid-19 for almost
two years. Covid-19 is the short form for Coronavirus Disease 2019. The first
Covid case had been identified in Wuhan, China.

Early detected cases in Malaysia were infected tourists who came to visit
Malaysia and soon the virus had infected more and more people. This deadly virus
can be spread by human to human through breathing, body liquid and is potentially
air borne too. These factors have made the cases rise rapidly. People panicked
and were worried as the virus is contagious.

To stop this virus from spreading and the situation getting worse, the
Prime Minister and Ministry of Health implemented Movement Control Order
(MCO) and imposed Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) for the public and
society. With this implementation, we managed to reduce and control the cases
as people observed the rules.

During this pandemic, many industries have to slow down their businesses
to survive. Employers have to reduce their workers so people lose their jobs.
Schools also have been closed down for quite some time so as to reduce the spread
of the virus.

Quality of life has changed drastically. People have to live and adapt to
these new norms. Social interaction and activities are no longer like before. In
daily life and activities, we need to follow a strict SOP. Hand sanitizing and
wearing face masks are the new life style now.

The Covid-19 has left a deep scar in many people’s lives. Some lost their
loved ones in this battle while others are still struggling in this pandemic. The
battle is not yet over and we must work together to fight and win.

Ways to be Patriotic

The red-letter day, Malaysia's Independence Day is around the corner, we
can see Malaysian flags hanging around everywhere. As Malaysians, we should
show our love towards our country and be patriotic as we were born in this
country. In conjunction with the 64th Independence Day of Malaysia, I would like
to share several ways on how to be more patriotic.

We should respect the Jalur Gemilang and the national anthem. We should
not vandalise or destroy it by stepping on it or even cutting it. Instead, we should
protect our National flag and display it with pride. Besides that, we ought to stand
at attention when the national anthem is played.

Malaysia is a unique multiracial country with different races. Hence, we
should respect each other instead of being racist. We should also tolerate each
other's differences and learn about each other’s cultures. Dressing up in
traditional costumes and trying out different kinds of food will help us to learn
more about our nation.

We should also explore our own country. We can visit hidden gems located
in Malaysia. Malaysia is rich in history and full of natural phenomena, so we should
take a look at this beautiful motherland.

In a nutshell, we must love Malaysia. From now on, let us show patriotism
not just on the 31st of August but every day as we are born in Malaysia, a peaceful
and multi-racial country.

A Challenge

I love music. I like to play the piano. In August 2021, I decided to
participate in the Junior Music Festival competition. It was an online competition
for students in primary schools. I was in the age seven to nine category.

After registering for the competition, I had one month to prepare for it.
My music teacher chose a song for me. The title of the song was “Odoru
Ponpokorin”. It was a cheerful and lively song. I went through the music score
together with my teacher. At first, I thought it was easy. When I started to
practice, I faced some problems. I realised that my fingers were too short to
reach the correct keys. I had to try my best to stretch my fingers while
practicing the song. I finally managed, after one week of hard work. After that,
I could not catch up with the rhythm of the song. I had to move my fingers faster.
After two weeks, I managed to play with the correct rhythm. For the last week,
my music teacher requested me to make more improvement.

On the recording day, I was very nervous. When I was ready, we started
to record the video. After I had finished recording, I sent the video to the
organiser of the contest. I was relieved.

On the day that the result was announced, I was very anxious. I had
butterflies in my stomach while watching the live announcement. I won the fifth
place in my category. I was extremely excited! I informed my music teacher. She
felt very happy for me.

My mother encouraged me to challenge myself and participate in the
competition again next year.
