Breeders: Michelle & Stan Nowacki

With her pedigree, Sasha was destined to be a great performance dog. She's always up for a
challenge, a car ride, and loves to please. She finished her Championship from the BBE class
as a puppy, and her Senior Hunter title as a young dog. She didn't get the chance to prove her
Master Hunter prowess until a Senior, but with trainer/handler, Janie Bristow, they made short
work of it. Since then, she's taken back up obedience and achieved her CD title; as well as
taken up Scent Work, quickly garnering her Scent Work Novice title. Advanced Scent Work
and Retrieving titles are on this ol' gal's radar!

My goal for Jonah was for him to become a Champion/Master Hunter like his sire, Strider.
Jonah has reached that goal, and then some!
Highlights of Jonah's career:
Finished his Championship at 9 months old from the Bred-By-Exhibitor class
2017 Best Dog in Central Futurity
With very limited showing, has multiple Best of Breed wins over Top Ten specials
Triathlete Award at the 2019 WCA National Specialty

Sophie loves to work. Whatever the activity, when it is her turn, she can hardly contain herself,
jumping around and giving me big smiles. She earned her Shooting Dog Excellent title in
February 2021 and finished her Master Hunter title the first weekend of March, 2021. She
then went on to retrieving training, earning her Retrieving Dog title in June, 2021. She is now
working towards her Retrieving Dog Excellent title. Conformation-wise, Sophie is a pretty
bitch that finished easily with 3 majors, shown exclusively in BBE classes. She was also 2nd in
her Futurity class and 3rd in her Maturity. All of Sophie's accomplishments are breeder/ owner
trained and handled. She is the mother of our Hailee (CH QuikSilvr I Dare You, JH NSD NRD
V), who was 1st in her conformation Futurity class and 2nd in her field Futurity in April 2022.
Sophie's second litter is planned for this summer.

Parker continues to amaze me, finishing her master hunter has been quite the learning
experience! She’s very biddable, has an intensity for all kinds of work and just loves to please.
She is a very loving and sweet dog who loves to be with her family and chill out sleeping on
the couch. Parker is completely owner trained and handled in performance venues.

Magic’s Weimaraner’s is proud to present Tip. He was one of our keepers from our Ricky x
Irma breeding. Tip showed incredible promise as a puppy. His beautiful structure and incredible
temperament really caught our eye. He has not disappointed. Tip was undefeated from the classes
finishing at 8 months from the BBE class. He had multiple WD/BOW at Specialties along with
multiple BOSS. Tip also made quick work of his GCH. He finished in limited showing, defeating
enough dogs to be ranked at 11 months, handled by myself. To cap off his first 6 months of
showing, Tip was awarded Best In Futurity at the 2022 Eastern Futurity Show in Perry. Thank
you Carl Liepmann and all of the judges that have found our rising star!

Interview with past WCA Junior
Nathan Brower
by: Barb Taylor
Nathan won a Special Award from WCA in 2014 for participating in more
events than any other Junior in WCA History
Barb: Thank you Nathan for agreeing to do
this Interview.
Nathan: Thanks for having me!
Barb: How old were you when you first
started participating in AKC events?
Nathan: I was a wee lad of 8 years when I
began getting involved in dog sports.
Barb: What events have you participated in
with your Weimaraners over the years?
Nathan: Just about all of them! Confirmation,
Agility, Obedience, Rally, Hunt Tests, Ratings
Tests, Tracking, and Dock Diving.
Barb: How many Weimaraners have you put
titles on?
Nathan: Let’s see… I’ve put championships
on a few, and contributed points to a few
others’ championships. I’ve put agility titles
on a couple, and hunt test titles on a couple. No other dog did I put more titles on
than Orbit however. Here is her full name and titles: CH Peachtrees Heavenly Path,
JH, CD, NAJ, NA, RN, NRD, NSD, VX. It was quite the journey together to get all
of that alphabet!
Barb: What is your fondest memory of
your years with Weimaraners?
Nathan: This is a tough one! I would say
my fondest memory is of my girl Orbit
back when I was around 12 years old. I
was entered in a retrieving ratings test,
one where the dog had to swim out into
the water and retrieve a chucker. It was
a frightfully cold day, and no other dog
would agree to enter the frigid lake. Orbit
was the only one to brave the weather and
make the retrieve. She had so much love
for me, she would do just about anything I
asked. I was so proud of her that day.
Page 22
Barb: How has being involved in dog
sports influenced you in your adulthood?
Nathan: In a few ways actually. I would
say the best way would be all of the
amazing people I have met and lifelong
friends I have made along the way.
Barb: What advice would you give
young WCA members and their parents
about participating in and preparing for
events with their Weimaraners?
Nathan: You win some, and you lose
some. I’ve certainly done my fair share of
both. The important thing is how you act.
Additionally, if you and your dog aren’t
having fun, don’t do it! At the end of the
day, dog competitions are activities for
you and your dog to bond and have fun.
Barb: What are some of the things you
are still doing with Weimaraners today as
an adult?
Nathan: I dabble in a few things. I help
my mother with her breeding program,
find myself occasionally showing a dog, and I just recently judged the sweepstakes at
a Weimaraner specialty. Additionally, I have become something of a photographer, and
I enjoy taking pictures of not just Weimaraners, but any dog that finds itself in front
of my camera. : )
Barb: Thank you again for your time and best of luck in all you do.
Nathan: Well thank you very much! Cheers.
REMINDER to ALL local WEIMARANER clubs:
We want to see and hear all about your events! Sharing the info with us allows us to
promote it on our social media and in the magazine. Exhibitors and club members also
want to read about your event and see images FROM your events!
When submitting your club's results for any event (field, hunt, show, obedience, agility,
scent etc) please make sure to use the WCA result submission layout and include photos
that are labeled clearly for your event.
There is a results submission flyer to help the club learn what is needed to make your
submissions easy. Email the editor if you need a copy. [email protected]

Breeders: Julie Aune and Susan Thomas
Owners: Jan Hare, Mark Miller, Julie Aune
Pizza has always been a "quick-starter". She earned 7 points at 6 months of age in only one
month before COVID shut down the shows, then picked up two big majors at the first two
shows post-shutdown to finish her championship before her first birthday. Within the next
month and a half she finished her grand championship title, and then went out and finished
her novice agility (standard and jumpers) titles her first two weekends competing in agility.
Likewise, she had 4 junior hunter passes out of 4 attempts with high scores, and then
finished her senior hunter title in only one month of testing.
She was awarded a Dual Futurity award at the 2021 WCA National Specialty banquet having
placed in both her field and show futurities in 2021. She also finished her Derby career in 5th
place, being the only titled champion to be ranked in the derby rankings all year...pretty good
for a "show dawg!" She has been one busy girl, and all titles were 100% owner-handled by
Jan Hare. Being only 2 1/2 years old, she has a big, exciting future ahead of her, and we are
blessed and thankful to have her a member of our family.
