UPDATES ON KRA 2: Stronger Shelter and Resilient Settlements
▪ On November 15, the groundbreaking of the
seven hectares resettlement area was
conducted by the DHSUD, DENR and LGU
Enrile, Cagayan at Sitio Dapang in Brgy. San
Roque.
• The DENR handed over the approved Gss-af-
02-001374 Resettlement Area to Mayor
Miguel Decena with the presence of officials
of DHSUD and LGU. The survey plan covers
132 lots which is now ready for One-Stop-
Shop acceptance/processing of public land
application.
WAY FORWARD
1. Implementation of the Work and Financial Plan for 2022 with a budget of
P56 Million which will cover the continuing activities of 2021 that include
hiring of forest protection officers, production of bamboo stocks, plantation
establishment, and construction of soil conservation measures
2. Conduct of assessment and planning among the members of RBBBTF and
strengthened collaboration for the continued support to the activities
3. Coordination with LGUs concerned as to affected lots subject of the
easement recovery
4. Continuous support to LGU Amulung and LGU Baggao, in coordination with
DHSUD, for the completion of the requirements for the resettlement areas
5. Mobilization of LGUs, NGAs, other stakeholders, and residents along Cagayan
River for the planting of bamboos and indigenous species
