Accepting God’s Plan: Unmovable Faith

therefore the protection, of the All Wise and the Almighty
will always be the one condition of your safety.
“Immanuel,” God with us (Isaiah 7:14), was the
watchword of every true warrior in God’s great army.
Thank you, Father that we can daily cast our burden on
you as Lord, and you will sustain us; you will never allow
your righteous to be moved.
And because of that, Father, every morning you allow me
to wake up, I will be grateful for receiving a kingdom faith
that cannot be shaken, and offer acceptable worship unto
you with reverence and awe. Amen.

In Him, You Win

Take a deep breath and exhale (repeat 3 times).

Every deep breath we take causes our lungs to stretch and fill
with oxygen. Deep breathing benefits both physical and
mental health. It alleviates stress, improves confidence, and helps
create better blood circulation.

Okay now let’s get physical if you can. Stretch your arms up over
your head and bring them down slowly (repeat 3 times). Stand up
and stretch your arms as high as you can; now touch your toes;
hold that position (repeat 3 times). Exercising causes us to stretch
our muscles. It is also important to our health, well-being, and
even longevity. We burn calories, lose weight and gain muscle
mass. We can physically see the benefits of breathing and
exercising and then there are benefits from breathing and
exercising we cannot see.

I promise you that God has got it! No matter what trial or
tribulation you are facing today, rest assured that God is

35

In Him You Win!

expanding you. He is stretching you to become stronger, wiser,
and richer. In Him, the enemy is defeated. In Him, you win.

We cannot comprehend with our human minds the wisdom of
God. He can plan out generations, take mistakes, our failures and
shortcomings, betrayals, and in His Righteous Right Hand bring
things together and cause them to work out for our good. He takes
the unimaginable, the unbearable, the divisions and distractions,
those things that leave you feeling hopeless and or powerless—
oh, and do not forget that thing that comes and knocks you clean
off your feet—and will give you peace in it all.

The Word of God reminds us in Ephesians 1:4-13 (ESV), “Even
as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we
should be holy and blameless before him. In love he predestined
us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according
to the purpose of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace, with
which he has blessed us in the Beloved. In him we have
redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses,
according to the riches of his grace, which he lavished upon us, in
all wisdom and insight making known to us the mystery of his
will, according to his purpose, which he set forth in Christ as a
plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in
heaven and things on earth. In him we have obtained an
inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of

36

In Him, You Win

him who works all things according to the counsel of his will, so
that we who were the first to hope in Christ might be to the praise
of his glory. In him you also, when you heard the word of truth,
the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with
the promised Holy Spirit.”

In other words, no matter what the enemy throws your way, grab
hold of the Word of God and saturate your mind with the good
news. As you do so, you will see that the tears from the pain,
frustration, and uncertainty of your situation has now pushed into
the authorized power, freedom, and unity in Him. This position
puts you in alignment with His will and plans for your life that
give you access to win. It is only in Him, you win!

Coming into the year 2019, my spiritual parents declared this was
the Year of Kingdom Expansion. I thought to myself while going
through my process, what does it mean to expand? To expand
requires us to be stretched and while being stretched, we will need
to be flexible. As we go through our storms, trials, and tribulations
we will experience pain, and where there is pain, fear tends to raise
its ugly head and our faith is stretched. As our faith is stretched,
we exercise perseverance through prayer and praise to our Abba.

Pain

What does pain feel or look like to you?

The following is an excerpt from
https://www.healthline.com/health/pain.

“Pain is a general term that describes uncomfortable sensations in
the body. It stems from activation of the nervous system. Pain can
range from annoying to debilitating, and it can feel like a sharp
stabbing or a dull ache. Pain can also be described as throbbing,
stinging, sore and pinching. Pain can be consistent, can start and
stop frequently, or can appear only under some conditions. People
respond to pain differently. Some people have a high tolerance for
pain, while others have a low tolerance. For this reason, pain is
highly subjective.

Pain can be acute or can occur over a longer period of time. It may
be related to a specific injury or issue, or it may be chronic, with
ongoing sensations lasting for longer than three months. Pain can
be localized, affecting a specific area of the body, or it can be
general—for example, the overall body aches associated with the
flu. With so many chronic conditions that could occur, the cause
of the pain is often unknown.

Although inconvenient and uncomfortable, pain can be a good
thing. It lets us know when something is wrong and gives us hints

38

In Him, You Win

about causes. Some pain is easy to diagnose and can be managed
at home. But some types of pain signal serious conditions.

The following is a quote from C.S. Lewis, the author of The
Problem of Pain, “But pain insists upon being attended to. God
whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks in our conscience, but
shouts in our pains: it is His megaphone to rouse a deaf world.”

As we go through our storm(s), trials, tribulations, problems, and
difficulties, we experience pain. It is the lack of understanding
why this thing has happened that hurts the most. It is imperative
to come to yourself quickly and pray to God, I don’t know why
this has happened, but I know that You are bigger. So, I cast my
care of the matter onto You.

This pain has a purpose for you. It has come to propel you to the
next level, the next chapter in your life. So, in your pain, In Him,
You Win.

Take your eyes and mind off of that situation or problem and focus
on what God is doing in you. You will find that in Him, you will
receive the peace that surpasses all understanding. In Him, you
will find that the rejection you experienced was actually God’s
protection for you. In Him, you will see that betrayal was the
derailment you needed to propel you onto the road of no more
regrets. In Him, you will be compelled to love those the enemy

39

In Him You Win!

used to hurt you, in spite of how you feel. In Him, you will
discover more about you and the greatness in you. You will find
that when situations or people try to stop you or try to take you
out, God is ever present and has gone before you to make every
crooked place straight in order to move you forward and bring you
out.

In Him, it will be made clear that they did not leave you, but God
removed them because they were inable to see or just chose not to
treasure you and your worth. They did not know who they were
in Him, therefore they could not wisely cultivate your greatness.
In Him, that sickness was the storm used to build up your faith and
cause you to trust in Him. In Him, you will become wiser,
stronger, confident and have the ability to see people and
situation(s) from His perspective. In Him, you will be able to see
the enemy in every situation, acknowledge your emotions but not
be moved by them, speak His Word knowing that the Lord is
standing beside you like a great warrior, and before it’s all said
and done you will see that enemy and those situations have been
defeated. In Him, all things will work out for you. So shall it be;
it cannot be otherwise.

In the process, I found that God will separate people from you who
are not necessary for your destiny (family, friends and
relationships), and that is painful because in the beginning you

40

In Him, You Win

may not understand. Many times the enemy will use your loved
ones or friends to bring division in your relationships or try to stop
your growth. The enemy will secretly operate in the spirit of envy,
jealousy, grief, inferior or superior, and insecurity, which would
cause that separation. John 10:10 (NIV) reminds us, “The thief
comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they
may have life, and have it to the full.” Because God has come to
give us life, and life without limits, He will expose the enemy.
God will separate you from those who are spiritually blind and
choose not to do right by you or try to stop what God has for you.
The word reminds us that God will separate the weed from the
wheat Matthew 3:12 (NLT), “He is ready to separate the chaff
from the wheat with his winnowing fork. Then he will clean up
the threshing area, gathering the wheat into his barn but burning
the chaff with never-ending fire.”

God will close some doors in order to propel you to the next level
in your destiny. Most of all God will reveal the enemy within
you. Not if, but when He shows you the enemy within, have an
open mind and heart to acknowledge things you did, said, and
thought that were not pleasing to Him.

It is imperative that you do not allow your emotions to take over
your mind and heart. You must surrender all and allow God’s plan
for your life to take form and manifest in His timing. Warning: Be

41

In Him You Win!

prepared. In order for His will to be done in your life, He will turn
your world upside down and inside out.

The Word reminds us in 2 Corinthians 4:16-18, (God’s Word),
“That’s why we are not discouraged. No, even if outwardly we are
wearing out, inwardly we are being renewed each and every day.
This light, temporary nature of our suffering is producing for us
an everlasting weight of glory, far beyond any comparison,
because we do not look for things that can be seen but for things
that cannot be seen. For things that can be seen are temporary, but
things that cannot be seen are eternal.”

In order to surrender, my perspective on life as I knew it had to
change. During each step of the process, I continued to say, “Lord,
not my will, but Your will be done.” The pain has come to purge
you; yes, to get rid of, remove, and clear out someone or
somethings of an unwanted quality, condition, or feeling. The
pain has and will turn our world upside down and inside out for
His glory. That pain had to come to cultivate our character for the
next level in Him. The pain will cause us to mature in Him. You
will also notice that God will expose people in your closest circle.
Know that it is okay. Be okay when God separates people who
are in your close circle. You must move forward in faith knowing
that in Him, you win.

42

In Him, You Win

Faith

I learned that your fears will fade as your faith in Him grows. Yes,
I know this is easier said than done. The Word of God reminds us
in John 1:12 that without faith in Jesus, we remain in sin and
cannot be accepted into God’s presence in His perfect heaven.
With faith in Jesus, we are given access to the Father as God’s
own children.

We must start by surrendering everything to God (marriage, child,
finances, job, supervisor, that thing or person). In my process, I
found that (1) faith allows us to receive from God, (2) faith gives
us access to the almighty power over our situation and
circumstances, (3) faith is agreeing with God, so that His power
may cause His will to be established in our lives, (4) faith is
holding on to nothing until nothing becomes something, (5) faith
never gives up, (6) faith does not analyze everything, and (7) faith
is seeing the invisible and speaking and doing the impossible.

His thoughts are not our thoughts and His ways are not our ways.
We must allow God to be God in our lives. Knowing this, hold
on to the promises, word, and dreams that God gave you. Hold on
to the One who holds on to you through the good and the bad
times. We know that all things are possible with God. Faith
elevates you to the level of God. In faith, our humanity is brought

43

In Him You Win!

to the level of His divinity. That is good news! Our belief in Him
puts the responsibility on God to fulfill His Word in our lives. His
Word reminds us that “All things are possible with God to them
who believe.” It is imperative as you are going through your trials
and tribulations that you confess what you believe, which is the
Word of God only, and not what you see and how you feel.

You see, the devil knows that unless he defeats your faith, he has
not defeated you. And we all know that our faithfulness will
always be tested. Mark 9:23 (New King James Version) reminds
us of what Jesus said to him. “If you can believe, all things are
possible to him who believes.” All things includes everything and
all things excludes nothing.

James 1:2-4 (NIV) states, “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and
sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds because you know
that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let
perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and
complete, not lacking anything.

James 1:2-4 (NKJV) states, “My brethren, count it all joy when
you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith
produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you
may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.”

In Him, You Win

Perseverance

In the process of writing this book, the Holy Spirit gave me this
guidance as it relates to perseverance:

Put on the full armor of God.
Endure to the end.

- Focus on the promise and not the process. The process will
expose the (inner-me), but don’t be discouraged.

- God will continue to fill your cup with His love and peace.
Rebuke negative thoughts and people the enemy is using as a
distraction.
Stand up and know who and whose you are and serve the Lord.
Encourage yourself.

- I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
- Greater is He that is in me than He that is in this world.
- I am a child of God, I win.
Value what God has placed in you; know your worth.
Express your concerns and frustrations to God.
Rest in knowing God’s got you; God is bigger than your
situation.
Act on the Word (Do something).

45

In Him You Win!

No weapon formed against you shall prosper and everything and
person that speaks against what God has said, you shall
condemn.

- Not even the weapons you have in your own hands, mouth,
or mind.

Command some things
- Mountains, be moved in Jesus’ name.

Embrace the victory.

Pray to God

We pray because it’s imperative that we have a relationship with
God. Prayer draws us close to God for He’s the one who knows
all things. James 4:8 reminds us to, “Draw nigh to God, and he
will draw nigh to you.” Our prayers must agree with the Word of
God. Therefore, we must die daily to His will, surrendering
everything and everyone to God. Why? So that we may see them
from God’s perspective.

Be encouraged that God hears us when we pray and He knows our
deepest needs. He understands what each tear means when we cry.
When we pray, God hears more than we say, He answers more
than we ask. He gives more than we imagine ... but in His own
time, in His own way.

46

In Him, You Win

We are reminded in Ephesians 3:20-21 (NKJV), “Now to Him
who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or
think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in
the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever.
Amen.”

Praise God

During our prayer time, we also give praise to God. As my
spiritual Mom would say, “God has ordained us to praise Him.”
Praises to God are what we offer in acknowledgment of God's
excellent being. All believers are commanded to praise God!

In fact, Isaiah 43:21 (NKJV) explains that praise is one reason we
were created, "This people I have formed for Myself; they shall
declare My praise." Hebrews 13:15 (NIV) confirms this, "Through
Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of
praise—the fruit of lips that confess his name."

Our praise to God exemplifies the love we have for our Creator.
Meditate on that for a moment. So, as you go through the
stretching process, turn your pain into power. Your fears will fade
as your faith grows. Don’t quit. Push, persevere and through it all
pray and give praise to our Father, the author and finisher of our
faith, the Almighty God, our strength, our peace. He is the I AM,
everything you stand in need of and more.

47

In Him You Win!

Jesus on Calvary went through the pain, stood in faith, persevered,
prayed and praised God through it all. And He did it all for us.
So, keep believing. This is not the time to give up. It is not going
to happen by your might, your strength, or your ability. It’s going
to happen in Him, by the hand of God. You must come to the end
of your ability, because only He is able to do exceedingly above
all you can think, ask or do. You’ve done everything you can, but
have come up empty. Don’t get discouraged. You’re not alone. In
Him, you have the most powerful force in the universe on your
side. God is always faithful. His faithfulness may not reveal itself
designed or planned the way you expected. It may not seem to
manifest in the timeline you think it should, one thing for certain
He love you and two things for sure He’s forever faithful and
always present. He always gives us exactly what we need and
more and in His exact perfect timing. He is never too early nor
late. He will give you exactly what you desired in your heart. The
enemy is defeated and you are victorious!

48

Declaration

I decree and declare the Spirit of the Lord is upon me and my
family, and we walk in freedom.
I decree and declare the victory of the cross is mine in Jesus’ name.
I decree and declare the great grace of God gives me total victory
in this year and beyond in the name of Jesus.
I decree and declare that whatsoever and whosoever will arise
against me this year will fall. No weapon formed against me shall
prosper.
I decree and declare every arrow of the enemy against me and my
family is destroyed now in Jesus’ name.
I decree and declare every gathering where my name is mentioned
in an evil way, with evil intentions, for an evil purpose, may the
fire of God descend and scatter them in the name of Jesus.
I decree and declare I will not fall prey to the conspiracy of the
enemy in the name of Jesus.

49

In Him You Win!

I decree and declare every plan, plot, scheme, altar, word spoken,
written, or thought of, known and unknown, that the enemy has
against me and my family are annihilated in Jesus’ name.

I decree and declare I will not lose a fight. My family will not lose
a fight. I plead the blood of Jesus over my life and my family
members’ lives in the mighty name of Jesus.

I place a hedge of fire around my life and my family, and
whosoever by day or by night that stretches a wicked hand against
us, they shall be consumed by the fire of God in the name of Jesus.

I prophetically declare I win, they lose; I win, they lose; I win,
they lose in the name of Jesus.

Oh Father, I thank you for the victory in every situation that I have
and will encounter. Thank you, Father for being the I AM to
everything that I need in every situation. Oh Father, I thank you
for defending me, for fighting for me. The enemy will wage war
against me, but he will not overcome me because of Yahweh. You
are with me, and You will take care of me. You, my Lord, have
spoken!

Immanuel, I know that You are with me. You have gone before
me, You have delivered me, you have spoken your Word and it is
so; it is finished. Thank you, Lord that the Heavenly angels you

50

In Him, You Win

have assigned to me have been dispatched to annihilate every evil
attack of the enemy. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah and to God
be all the glory. In Jesus’ name. Amen

In Him, you are healed and made whole…

Your character will be cultivated and you will begin to walk in His
power, love and with a sound mind. You will become more
sensitive to His will become humble to His plans for your life. He
will redeem and restore your relationships, finances, and
everything that the enemy took from you. But you must become
more intimate and intentional with God by sitting at His feet and
hearing from Him, in order for you to be more aware of what is
going on around you and what He is saying in that particular
season. Then you will testify about your experience and the
goodness of His glory in your life.

Father God, help me to stay on course today, and reveal Your will
to me. I decree and declare I will not live a life of regrets anymore.
I choose to do what you want me to do, and I shall only speak what
is acceptable to you. I choose to just be Your child. In You, I Win!
Thank you, Father God.
