INTRODUCTION

Maxbolt is a Badminton equipment brand founded in Malaysia in 2016 under MAX OLT
Perfect Sports sdn bhd which is a sport supplying company to
government and corporate sector. This badminton brand that is designed
and engineered in Korea but manufacture, made in China. Maxbolt has been
founded since year 2016, within a short period of time till 2019 the brand
have expanded into 12 Country such as Korea / China / Hong Kong / India /
Malaysia / Singapore / Indonesia / Taiwan /UK / Saudi Arabia / Dubai /
Australia. Maxbolt has been actively sponsoring multiple sports event in
Malaysia and also sponsoring Malaysia national team of netball ,badminton
and etc in overseas sports competition.

The brand currently mainly supplies variety of badminton product
including various series of badminton racquet for different purpose,
badminton shuttlecock, jersey, badminton shoes, bag and different type of
accessories such as socks, gel insole,badminton grip,badminton strings,
kneepad, ankle sleeve and etc.

The mission of the company is to make the best quality and to make sure the
company’s loyal supporter to get the best quality & best experience by using
Maxbolt’s products . which is a short term goal of the company to provide the
best products that are produced by using high quality of materials but selling
with an affordable price. While for the vision of the company is to become a
global well known sports product brand which is originated from Malaysia.

( Rationale )

Maxbolt logo is derived from the name of the brand which consist the BOLT.
The bolt word resembles lightning speed, accuracy and bold which is
reflected on our company’s product and personality. Maxbolt logo implies
the lightning bolt stroke as a main element of the logo, as the lightning bolt
stroke represents the bolt word for the brand’s name. The lightning bolt
stroke is designed in a minimalistic way and merged together with the “B”
word to make the whole logo appears to be more bonded, emphasizing the
company is bonded together with lightning speed, accuracy and bold
personality. The Design of the logo of Maxbolt comes in two form, full
wording form and icon form, as for the icon form, it’s actually a condense
form of the full wording logo by taking out the B word in the logo as a
standalone icon.

The total colour that will be used for Maxbolt logo will be three colour, which
will be Dune, White and Lightning Yellow. The reason of using these three
colours is because White and Dune (which is a hue of black) is both a colour
that directly reflects minimalistic design, where Dune also reflects the bold
and brave brand personality from the archetypes of the company which is
The Hero. Lightning Yellow is a color that directly comes to mind when
lightning stroke comes to mind yet also a color that resembles bold,
striking and speed.

Fonts used for the logo is TT Norms extra bold, The sans serif font that
comes in a huge weight and clear cut edges clearly reflects Bold and striking
from the brand personality once again and the clear visible wording of the
logo would reflects a strong brand identity.

It is extremely important for a brand success that the logotype, signatures
and element to be displayed correctly. This includes always using the correct
typefaces, color and the correct relative positioning and size of all elements.
Below is a list of things you should not do with the logotype and its
elements.

CORPORATE COLOURS

Corporate colours are a colour scheme that organization adopts as a key visual
element of its corporate identity. Once established, a firm may mandate that
corporate colours be used in logos, promotional items, advertising, products,
services, user interfaces, communications, documents, uniforms, office
decor and locations. In some cases, a firm with many brands uses unique colour
schemes for each brand.

Maxbolt’s corporate colour made up by three colours, which includes White,
Dune and Lightning Yellow. White and Dune are mainly used for the brand
where both these colour best reflects simplicity and minimalistic. White are
normally associated with clean and lightweight which reflects the quality of the
brand products. While Dune resemble Power , Bold and etc, which clearly
reflects the brand personality of Maxbolt. Lightning Yellow are the most
suitable colour to represent a Lightning strike bolt which is the main element
of the brand logo and the brand as the color is striking, bold and eyecatching.
Lightning yellow also represents speed and accuracy just as what the brand
provides with their product.
