Declaration of Independence
The Declaration of Independence was a document that was written by Thomas
Jefferson and it was adopted by the Second Continental Congress. It states the
reasons why British Colonies in North America searched for independence and
why they deserve it.

Legislative Branch
The Legislative Branch is a branch in the government that makes the laws,
debates them and they pass them. Page 3
Executive Branch
This is the branch of the government that enforces the laws. The main power is
used by the President. The laws they enforce are the ones that are made by the
Legislative Branch.

Judicial Branch
The Judicial Branch is the branch of the government that interprets and applies
the laws in the name of the state. They also settle disputes in court.

Bill Of Rights
The Bill of Rights is the first 10 amendments which give rights to Americans. Was
made on September 25, 1789.
