Settling back into Early Years and having fun. Welcome back Myla.

Myla enjoys exploring all the areas in the playroom she has
settled in really well and is happy to be with her friends again.

Myla loves the play dough and likes to use the play dough tools. She enjoyed Myla picked up all the Pom
using our craft scissors to cut the paper into a variety of patterns. poms using the tweezers.

swing. Myla had a great time down at the woods. She had fun on the tree
swing and balancing carefully on a tree branch. Then she made a

colourful leaf kebab. Well done Myla.

These are great Gary and I are very proud of
Myla is happy to be back at nursery after the
her. summer holidays, she has been busy playing in
the house corner with her friends. Myla loves
sensory play, she likes to play in the water and

our new indoor sand area, she also enjoys
playing with the play dough.

Myla has good fine motor control and likes
creating lovely pictures to take home. She has
good focus and concentration when taking on a

task.
Myla can recognise and order numerals to 5 and

is beginning to recognise other numbers too.
Well done Myla you have worked hard this term.

It’s a Snowy Day to Play. Get Your Skates On

I went ice skating with
mummy and daddy.

I was rolling down
the hill and I got

wet.

Myla loves outdoor play she had an amazing time outside when Myla’s Mum took a lovely picture of Myla ice skating with her
it was snowing. Daddy and the little penguin. Then after ice skating Myla went to

the Cinema with her family and had a fantastic time.

Evaluation of Learning Plan
January - March

Gary and I are so pleased with Mylas report card! We Myla is a happy and sociable little girl she loves
have had a wee chat with her and told her she’s so clever! playing outdoors, she had an amazing time outside

when it was a snowy day.





Myla has worked hard on her targets this term and
has enjoyed learning to throw and catch a ball with

her peers, she has good gross motor control.
Myla can recognise and use numbers to 10, she makes

use of a variety of resources to help her identify
numerals as she plays. She has shown a good

understanding of phonological awareness skills and
especially her understanding of rhyme and

alliteration. Myla absolutely loves group time and sits
great with her peers joining in with all our songs, she

really enjoys the star helper role.
As part of Myla’s transition into primary school she
has enjoyed visiting the woods and meeting the class

teachers, they took part in some fun activities
together.

Well done Myla you have worked hard to achieve your

targets ⭐

Myla has been learning to describe some features
and properties of shapes during play, she can

name familiar shapes and count the corners and
edges.

Myla was a superstar as she took on the role of
the teacher at group time, she was reciting some

number rhymes confidently and then showing
everyone the number 4 rhyme. She can recognise
the difference between letters and numbers as

she sorts them into the correct category. ⭐
Myla enjoyed visiting her new class teacher Mrs
Cook and the Primary 1 environment as part of
her transition. She has worked so hard this term
and I am so proud of her. I will miss her cheery

wee face and chat in our Stars Group.
