Settling back into Early Years and having fun. Welcome back Carys.
Carys enjoys art and sensory experiences in the playroom she
has settled in with ease. She has been very busy making lovely
pictures. ⭐

I was painting a picture
for mummy and daddy.
Carys loves the challenge of completing a jigsaw
puzzle, she has really good concentration when
taking on a task. Well done Carys you are a

enjoys our number rhymes at group time. She
can recognise most numerals to 5 and with
adult help she is beginning to recognise other

Carys is happy to be back at nursery and playing
with her friends again. She has been busy learning
to recognise numbers. She can recognise most
numerals to 5 and with adult help is beginning to
recognise bigger numbers. We will continue to
practise this through a variety of play experiences.
Carys loves art and sensory activities she has good
fine motor control and her drawings are becoming
more detailed and meaningful as she expresses her
ideas.
She enjoys outside playing especially taking the
baby a walk in the pram, Muddy Monday experiences
at the woods and playing on the little bikes.

We feel Carys is doing really well. She is trying to write and nearly has her name! Her drawing is coming on and Carys has worked hard achieving her targets

phonological awareness skills and especially her
understanding of rhyme and alliteration.

Carys has worked hard to achieve all her
targets this term. She has been learning to
recognise the difference between letters and
numbers and can recognise and sort these with
ease. She is a superstar at ordering and
naming numerals to 10 and is now beginning to
learn numbers beyond 10.
Carys enjoyed her role as Miss Milligan at group
time, marking the register and greeting her
peers, she was a fantastic teacher. Well done
Carys.
Carys enjoyed visiting her new class teacher
Miss Girvan and the Primary 1 environment as
part of her transition. She has worked so hard
and I am so proud of her progress. I will miss
her cheery wee face and chat in our Stars
Group.
