Reah enjoyed being the star helper. She counted 5 children in her group and marked the register. Then she selected
the cloudy weather sign and chose a yellow star sticker. Awesome job Reah well done ⭐

September - December

Reah is settling really well into her nursery,
she has been busy learning all the nursery

rules and routines. Reah is exploring the
resources available to her, she particularly
enjoys the house corner and playing in the
sand. She enjoys playing alongside her peers
and is now forming lovely friendships. Reah is
learning to recognise her name in print and
looks for her name when completing a picture
to take home. She is learning to touch and
count a set of objects to 3 and can do this

confidently to 5. Well done Reah you have
worked hard this term. ⭐

Evaluation of Learning Plan
January - March

Reah is a lovely little girl, she is happy and
settled in her Early Years class. She enjoys

art activities and has good fine motor
control. Reah likes to explore the books in our

literacy area and she enjoys looking at the
pictures and listening to stories. She is

fantastic at recognising her name on her
coat hanger and hanging her jacket up, she is

a superstar. Reah enjoys interacting with
other children and is forming lovely

friendships. She has been working hard on her
numeracy target and is learning to recognise

numerals to 5, we will continue to practise
this through lots of different learning

experiences. Well done Reah, what a star you
are! ⭐

April - June The caterpillar was
hungry.

Reah is learning to talk about the sequence of events in a She loved drawing a beautiful picture of the butterfly

story. and she even made a caterpillar from the play dough.
We are learning about the life cycle of a butterfly
and Reah is fascinated with our caterpillars, watching

them grow bigger every day.

April - June

Reah has been busy learning to order numerals
to 5 and has made fantastic progress. She is
doing so well and is now exploring larger
numbers. Reah enjoyed listening to The Very
Hungry Caterpillar story and could retell the

story in the correct order using the pictures to
help her. She has an interest in drawing to

illustrate her favourite part of the book, she
drew a beautiful butterfly.

She has enjoyed playing with the farm animals,
dinosaurs and play dough, she especially
enjoys outdoor play.

Reah enjoys sitting at group time listening to our
news and singing our songs. She loves the star
helper role and is becoming increasingly
confident as she completes her jobs.

Well done Reah, you are a star! ⭐

Having fun and learning at Elderbank Early Years.

Enjoy the next chapter of your learning journey into
your Pre-School year Reah. You have worked so hard and I
am so proud of you. I look forward to seeing you after the
