Settling back into Early Years and having fun. Welcome back Bi y.
Billy enjoys exploring all the areas in the playroom he has
settled in well. Billy especially loves outside on the little trike
and he enjoys his lunch at nursery too.

Billy is happy to be back at nursery after the summer
holidays. He has been learning to play co-operatively,
share and take turns. Billy is a helpful and friendly
little boy and is forming lovely friendships, he is
beginning to learn about showing respect for others.
Billy enjoys being the star helper at group time and
can carry out his star helper jobs confidently. He
especially enjoys singing the days of the week song
and learning the number rhymes at group time.
He has shown a great understanding of phonological
awareness skills, especially his understanding of
rhyme. Billy can identify, order and use numerals to
10 confidently and he is beginning to explore bigger
numbers.
Well done Billy you have worked hard this term.

Billy has worked hard to achieve all his targets
this term. He has been learning to manage
fastenings and can fasten the zip on his jacket.
Billy has been exploring the concept of pattern
and can copy and continue a shape and colour
pattern.
He has been learning about the features and
properties of shapes and he can identify them
within his environment counting how many
edges and corner they have. Billy has a great
understanding of phonological awareness skills
and understands rhyme and alliteration.
Billy enjoys group time and he always has good
listening and attention, he participates with all
the songs and rhymes.
As part of Billy’s transition into primary school
he has enjoyed visiting the woods and meeting
the class teachers, they took part in some fun
activities together.
He is a superstar, well done Billy. ⭐

Billy was so proud to show off his writing skills at group
time, he sat with great concentration forming some letters
from his name. Well done Billy.
Billy was confident when taking on the role of the
teacher at group time. He marked the register and said

Billy is enjoying outdoor play especially our
wooded area, he is totally independent when
getting ready for outdoor activities.
He is learning to recognise the difference
between letters and numbers and can tell the
difference with ease.
Billy has planted and looked after some
strawberry plants and he has been learning
about what they need to live and grow. He
continues to enjoy learning about early addition
and has a keen interest in numbers. He is a
superstar
Billy enjoyed visiting his new class teacher Mrs
Cook and the Primary 1 environment as part of
his transition. He has worked so hard and I am
so proud of him. I will miss his cheery wee face
and chat in our Stars Group.
