ONEgeneration Enriching Lives Award

Paul Markovich is president and CEO of Blue Shield of California,
a 3.5 million member not-for-profit health plan with more than
$13 billion in annual revenue that serves the state’s commercial,
individual and government markets. Markovich assumed the
position on January 1, 2013.

As president and CEO, Markovich drives Blue Shield's mission to
ensure Californians' access to high-quality health care at an
affordable price. A 17-year Blue Shield veteran, Markovich
previously served as COO. Prior to that, he was senior vice
president of the Large Group Business Unit and led the CalPERS
sector. He also led the Product Development unit in the late 1990s
and introduced numerous products and services.

Markovich is a graduate of Colorado College (where he played
Division I hockey), a Rhodes Scholar, husband and father. He
serves on the board of directors of America’s Health Insurance
Plans and California Association of Health Plans.

ONEgeneration Leadership Award

Clumeck Stern Schenkelberg & Getzoff is an accounting firm
that has been a fixture in the community for nearly thirty years.
Founded in1987, L. Larry Clumeck and Adrian Stern opened
the doors of Clumeck Stern with the vision to provide
outstanding services, treat clients like friends while, at the same
time, give back to the community that had supported them.
They believed that these were the ways to succeed. The firm's
first clients are still with us today and demonstrate our
continuing commitment to these values.
Today, Clumeck Stern is comprised of five partners: L. Larry
Clumeck, Adrian Stern, Stephen Getzoff, Denise Villbrandt and
Sandy Madnick. The Firm has 16 team members and continues
to give financial advice, prepare tax returns and financial
statements, and educate CPAs all over the United States.
Clumeck Stern has had six peer reviews with no negative
comments and won numerous awards for the quality of our
work and has preserved its founding values. The firm is actively
involved in the community with our partners serving on
numerous boards of charities and foundations.

ONEgeneration Trailblazer Award

Lyn Levine is a licensed psychotherapist in private
practice. In 1975, Lyn received a grant to create a
pilot multi-purpose senior center. The model ran for
three years, had 2,500 members, and many
breakthrough programs.
In 1978, Lyn was asked to run the West Valley
Senior Multipurpose Center (now known as
ONEgeneration).
