How to Pick your Spill Kits:

Each Spill Kit has a different application based on the contents in the kit.
This chart will help you choose the right spill kit for the various areas.

Spill Kit Refills: Spill Kit Training:

With the refill units, you do not need to replace 2 Hour session
your Spill Kits every time after use. All content Includes theory and practical session
is sold separately for easy maintenance and

Spill Kit Inspection services are available on Certificate of attendance
request.
Refresher training to be done yearly.
First Aid Kits:

First Aid Kits can be provided on request.
Unit can be purchased with or without
content.

First Aid kits need to be maintained by a
competent First Aider and are a requirement
for site and staff safety.

Spill Response Trailers:

Spill Response Trailers are custom made on order.
Based on the site activities, the content of the trailer is
customised for initial spill response and containment
onsite.

Once contents on the trailer has been used, refill
items can be ordered separately. See page 7 for
waste management options.

Spill Trailer inspections and Basic Spill Response
training can be provided on clients request.

Mock Emergency Drills:

Mock Emergency Drills assist in staff preparedness for
sudden chemical or product releases. Rapid will assist
with Mock Drills from planning to final report and debrief.

These drills can aid in the prevention of environmental
contamination and loss of life through product releases.
Mock drills form part of inspections and audits and
increases awareness of risks onsite.

Absorbents: Loose Absorbents

RapidZorb

100% Natural absorbent material, made from sphagnum peat.
Structure of the absorbent encapsulates pollutants preventing
leaching.  Product is hydrophobic and can be used on land and
water. Non-Toxic and Non-leaching.

Available in: 5kg, 10kg, and 15kg.

EconoZorb

Natural and organic absorbent material, made from coco peat.
Highly porous structure allows for the absorption of
hydrocarbon products. The structure of the peat traps the
pollutant inside the product, preventing leaching.

Available in: 5kg, 10kg, and 15kg.

Floorsafe PEAT

Floorsafe PEAT is a dried sphagnum peat moss product that
repels water and absorbs oils. Non-Toxic and extremely
absorbent. Leaves floors dry and residue-free, ensuring that
floors are left clean and safe.

Available in: 10kg, 15kg and 30kg.

ChemSorb®

High performance, Universal Non-selective Absorbent. This
absorbent has been tested with over 100 industrial liquid
chemicals and solutions, and has proven application in large
industrial and petrochemical operations.

ChemSorb® does not react with Acids or Alkaline, making it
safe to use on aggressive liquids. Non-leaching properties.

Available in: 5kg and 10kg.

Absorbents: Contained

Absorbent Socks

Absorbent socks are tough and economical. Use them to
contain leaks and spills from containers and on hard surfaces
to keep the work area clean and safe while preventing spread
of liquids.

Available in: 1,2 m x 70mm Φ
28 units per box

Absorbent Booms

Used to contain liquid spills fast and effectively. Booms can be
used to quickly isolate and protect areas of risk and to prevent
further contamination.

Available in:
2m x 125mmΦ (4/bag)
4m x 125mmΦ (2/bag)

Absorbent Pillows

Use in areas that are hard-to-reach and where loose absorbent
application is difficult. Leaking equipment (e.g. Hoses) can be
placed on pillows in order to absorb the spilled liquids.

Small 200mm x 400mm (20/bag)
Large 400mm x 400mm (10/bag)

Absorbent Mats

Mat pads are ideal for absorbing liquids indoors and outdoors.
It can be used to wipe contaminated areas or placed in the
area to absorb the liquid contamination.

from vehicles and trucks.

RAILWAY Mats

Rapid Railway Mats are effective in preventing the
contamination of underlying surfaces by drips, leaks and spills.
Heavy duty polyethylene backing ensures that no oils or fuels
leak onto the soil or ballast stones under the mat. Easy to
install and rotate.

Mycoremediation Media

Rapid Mycoremediation Media has been designed to break
down petroleum and hydrocarbon based products to CO², H²O,
N², HCI, etc.

Available in:
10kg bags
1 bag treats an estimated 1m³ of soil, depends on
contamination levels.

Bio-Blue

Used to accelerate the remediation process by adding
additional remediation agents to the overall process.
Liquid based remediation agent follows the flow path of the
pollutant. Can be used for insitu remediation (next to roads or
excavations)

25L, 210L and 1000L

Waste Disposal

Contact Rapid for you waste removal, disposal and recycling
needs.

Rapid provides the Transport and Safe Disposal of bulk solid
and liquid waste. From 25L containers to bulk waste disposal,
Rapid has the solution for you.

even when you are disposing and recycling products.

ECONO DRIP TRAYS DURA DRIP TRAYS Drip Trays

Drip trays can be used under equipment or machinery where
dispensing/filling takes place to catch accidental spills and
leaks. Units can also be used for the storage of equipment and
containers, to prevent contamination on surfaces.

Containment Products

Portable PVC Bund

Use Rapid portable bund to safely store any leaking drums,
therefore preventing further contamination to the surface
below. Ideal for secondary containment for pumps, equipment,
containers and generators, etc.

Custom made to customer size requirements.

Drum Funnel

Return oil or liquid product to drums easily with the Rapid Drum
Funnel, available in plastic and steel.

Advantages:
No mess transfers, due to a 600mm diameter.
Sloped for easy run off to container.
Lid prevents contamination by rain or other products.
Fits onto tight head drum.
Great for recycling used hydrocarbon products.

Over Drum

Overdrums are used to contain damaged drums or large
containers, the drum top is secured with a locking ring for
safety.

Advantages:
Preventing further contamination during storage or transport.
Available for 210 L drums only.

8 Drum Storage Unit

Secure and vandal-proof storage for your drums.
Fully welded steel storage unit for 8 x 210L drums.
High & low level vents reduce fumes and condensation.

240L Recycling units

Rapid Recycling units are used to store various waste streams
and are designed to be easily recognizable due to colour
coding of the units. The units are complete sets, including bin,

Bulk Waste Station

Mild steel waste bins (2 Divisions).
Bin can take up to 1m³ of waste per division.
Can be painted as per client requirements.

Oil Water Separator

A Separator is a vessel used for the separation of oil from
water. Separators can be found above ground, underground,
on trailers and other areas where needed.
Rapid Separators are custom
made as per site requirements.
Designed for efficient oil removal.
Once installed it is fully automated.
Maintenance schedule to be provided based
on the units installed onsite.

Belt Skimmer

Belt Skimmers are used to lift and remove hydrocarbon
products from separators, tanks and other water containment
vessels.
Requires no tank modifications, Easy to maintain and use,
Easy mounting and fast cleaning.

Handtools

Specifically for the Petroleum and Chemical industries, Rapid has
