RizqIT Resources is a custom software development company that specialises in providing the
highest quality IT solution for businesses. The company consists of dedicated group of highly
skilled systems analysts and programmers, aiming at delivering the best custom software
application to its clients. The owner, Mr Rizz started this company with only two staff of
systems analyst and programmer in 2010. The business has expanding and now RizqIT has
employed more than 100 staff. At the moment, RizqIT is committed to train junior systems
analysts to be part of its mentoring project in system development.

The following is the conversation that takes place during a weekly meeting between Mr Rizz
and his five senior systems analysts:

Thanks again for attending this urgent meeting. There are two
things that I want to discuss today. Firstly, the conception that
our team always faces during the system development... and
secondly…. Will tell you later…. so, please Mr. A, presents your
findings as per our discussion last week
Well, thanks Mr Rizz.
As all of you know that we have issue with system development
life cycle problems… Please look into this illustration that I took

The diagram really represent our current issues with clients and
team members.
If we don’t overcome this issue, we could not deliver the best for
our client in the future.

Mr B I agree. I also faced the same issue, especially when I was dealing with our
Mr C junior analyst. They tend not to listen to the customers…. Always want to do
the system development in the way that they like…. I always have to interfere
Mr A during their session with the clients

Mr D Perhaps younger generation likes to short cut everything to make everything
Mr Rizz faster. After this, please advise all of your young members of systems
analysts to follow our traditional ways of doing the system development. But
Mr E let them know that we have the flexibility in terms of any modeling tools that
they want to use…

Yes, I agree with you Mr C. As senior system analysts, we have to teach and
share with our juniors that every approach in the system development has
pros and cons. But, we at RizqIT Resource maintains to use the traditional
approach as all of the documentation are clear. So, we have proper
documentation along the projects

eh, by the way, Mr Rizz, I heard that we are going to receive several big
projects coming in. Is it true?

Well, yes. This is the second thing that I want to update earlier. We are in the
process of finalising our discussion with several companies for system
development projects. Stay tune everyone…. The projects will landing
shortly… I will assign all of you with the projects details so that all of you
could work on it.. it’s kind of urgent projects…

Wow, that’s great. Happy to hear that… most of our project are all in the last
stage… so we are ready to start with a new one.

Ms Access. Make sure the business rule/policy in regard
to data design is clear.

2.Make sure their design follows the Handbook for User
Interface Design. Ask them to check the notes on 7
habits of seccessful interface design.

3.Design appropriate input and output screens for the
new system

4. Make sure that the design could help the user to key-in
the data efficiently and produce report effectively
